We were in the Maison Blanche for two nights during which the Hotel was used as a disco on the first floor just beneath us so we could not sleep untill 15:30 when it finished. We were transfered at 13:00 to two floors up and the day after to the top floor which did not help much. We were not... more

The hotel is on a main boulevard which can mean that if your windows faced the street, you will be able to hear the street noise all the time. If you can, give specific instructions that you want a room that doesn't face the street and definitely a room as high up as they can give you. Otherwise, we stayed... more

I stayed in the Maison Blanche last week for a meeting. There were approximately 9 others attending the same meeting staying there and most had no serious criticisms. But I would make a few points. I booked on a prepay website and wished to confirm that the hotel had received the booking. I tried the fax number given by the... more

The stuff is trying their best, however, we they could not find a map of Tunis available. The facility needs refernishing. Large rooms. The air condition in rooms 707 and 407, is very bad + in room 707 high noise comming from machins. Breakfest is very reach, and restaurant stuff are very frandly and halpful. Hoel is about 2 km`... more

I stayed at this hotel for 5 days in june. The first stay was a pleasant one, although the toilet leaked and they didnt fix it until after we left. The second stay was a little surprising: we made arrangements for extra people to stay in our room, and then the next day changed their minds and told us that... more

We stayed at the Maison-Blanche two times during our trip to Tunisia. At the beginning of our trip our stay was adequate, until they literally kicked us out of the lobby the last day as we were waiting for our rental car to arrive. We decided to give the Hotel another chance as the location was good and the rooms... more

A 5-night stay in La Maison Blanche started my three week Tunisia stay on an excellent note. My room was spacious, although it was the same rococo suite pictured. However, I enjoyed the decor, as it greatly reminded me of a room where I had stayed in France. Although it was on the second floor and facing the street, I... more

This hotel doesn't have a gym, a business centre, an agreeable lobby or a useable restaurant, but what it does have is large clean rooms that are pleasant and functional especially for a longer stay. Mine had a coffee table/couch/TV area, a small dining table, and a writing desk. Also a four poster bed which -- unlike the rococo horror... more

This hotel has all the charm of a decrepit New Orleans Cathouse. There is a restaurant which is a 2 hour ritual for a tough steak, or a bar blaring local music which is the local meat market for local lads with designer stubble, sunglasses, and leather jackets posing as ersatz americans. Preparing a sandwich is a major intellectual exercise... more

We were disappointed with this hotel. It is not what we would call a five star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. We were expecting in room safe (broken) hairdryer (broken) slippers & robes (did not exist). The bathroom was grubby with loose fittings. The walls were so thin we could hear everything from the room nextdoor (sounded like they... more
