Hotel designed by Ron Arad and Stark some years ago and what a great design it is! Bed most comfortable we have had in Tunisia, loved the hidden wardrobe and the space station like door. Communal parts equally appealing, hip and trendy. Couple of irritations: we were asked to pay for the bedroom in advance which was slightly demeaning and... More

Great location, amazing views, superb and very spacious rooms, great deco, great service, great restaurant, friendly personnel and having the impression of being where it all happens. I highly recommend Villa Didon. What a blessing to wake up to the best view of the Mediterranean in this very design and trendy boutique hotel!

A couple of friends and I went to Villa Didon for lunch one day. We sat outside on the Veranda and soaked in the amazing view of the Old Punic Port. Even though it was The end of September, It was a bit hot still to sit outside but the view was not something to be missed. The food was... More

Finally great location, great service and very comfortable. I was happily surprised to find my high tech modern room, with all the necessary amenities to help you have a great night sleep and be productive. I did not get a chance to try the restaurant, however the room service was very good.

We tried two different restaurants at villa didon, sushi bar and the restaurant. It was a pleasure to meet both sightseeing, calm, service and tasty food. Worth the visit when you are in tunis. The price aren't too high for a five star hotel :-)

Me and my partner Martin went on a day trip to Carthage whilst holidaying in Tunisia. Carthage itself is a beautiful city and because we were on foot, We walked for miles around the city. You can imagine our delight when we came across Villa Didon , a small hotel perched on the hill looking down on the most beautiful... More

I usually stay in luxury hotels listed on Leading Hotels of The World but this is one of those times that I'm really glad I didn't. The only hotel in Tunisia listed on www.LHW.com was The Residences in Tunis and even though it's a gorgeous hotel, it is not in Carthage where the exclusive parties take place. So I went... More

Great place to be ! After 1 year absence we've spend again a marvellous night at the Villa Didon. Rooms are still top design. Food got even better as a French cook got involved in setting up the menu. Ladiesnight on Wednesday evening is worth being. View on the bay of Tunis remains marvellous. We'll be back. My girlfriend and I stayed briefly at Villa Didon in the mid-August low season and had a fantastic time. We booked a junior suite which was one of the nicest hotel rooms I have stayed in and had a wonderful view over Carthage and the sea. The restaurant is by far the best we experienced in Tunisia, with several dishes... More

I've stayed couple of days at the Villa Didon, hopefully with a special rate booked from the customer. The hotel is nice, design, but surely no 5* as it aims. Rooms are ok, view is great but do not deserve the catalogue rate of 220 euro a night. Bar is ok in terms of look, barman need to do a... More
