We statued at all of the Singita properties with this being the last. It is clearly the most luxurious of their properties here and the ideal last stop on our 10 day Safari. The cottages(more like small homes) are stunning and huge. The staff and service level are among the best I have ever experienced. The drivers are the most... More

The view from the cottage of the Serengeti is a "wow, peaceful for mind and body" Service was superb,Isaac was our personal butler with a smile and "nothing was a problem" Bernard was a fantastic game guide found the hide outs of cheetahs, lions, etc (Hippos are at the Faru Faru lodge.) The cottages are like modern hotel suites with free... More

My husband and I stayed at Sasakwa, Sabora, and Faru Faru. The Grumeti lodges are magical. The service is superb. This was the best overall experience we've ever had, and we enjoy luxury travel. We had an incredible guide named Joe who went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. He was truly superb. In fact, everyone provided... More

Having had the best holiday ever last year (2013), my husband and I decided to share the amazing experience with our two younger daughters, both of whom are very competent riders. The trip did not disappoint - the same excellent level of service and luxurious surroundings at Sasakwa Lodge then meeting and getting to know our horses, a quick ride... More

If you can afford to come here (it's pricy) do so. Very well worth the cost. Spectacular lodge on top of a hill overlooking the Serengeti. Cottages that are the size of small houses, with wonderful furnishings. Personal service at every turn. Your own guide. Your own waiter. And do NOT try to carry anything, even your camera bag, someone... More

I cannot express what a marvelous vacation this was. From the very moment you arrive with warm eucalyptus infused washclothes and drink, this is special. The lodge is located on a hill overlooking the Singita Grumeti reserve. Each beautiful, private cottage have its own heated infinity pool. Service is outstanding. They always know where you are and aready to serve... More

We spent a few days at Sasakwa Lodge in August 2014 as part of a trip to Tanzania. It was without doubt the highlight of our trip. The service is perfection from the moment we were met from our flight at the small airport, to being greeted by the very charming managers Brad and Kate as well as having the... More

My wife and I and our grown daughters travelled to Tanzania last month and had the pleasure of spending three nights at Sasakwa. We are well-travelled and have stayed at many wonderful properties, including Singita Boulders, a fellow Singita property at Sabi Sands. Nothing we have ever experienced could approach the food, the beauty of the Lodge, and most of... More

I travelled from Australia all the way to Grumeti Rver to organise my honeymoon. At Grumeti airport I contacted the manager by phone to let him know I would like to come and inspect the property for a few minutes and get some quotes and information. It was extremely difficult getting through on the phone as they frequently jet didm''t... More

We were saddened to read about your recent experience in the Serengeti National Park, Tanzania and naturally sorry that you did not have a chance to visit us at Singita Grumeti. This review is a bit past due but I felt guilty not giving this property its full praise. Simply put the staff is perfect and beyond caring and accommodating, from the managers to the waitstaff and everyone else. The property is beautiful and perfectly manicured with the plunge pools in the lodges providing idealistic views over the Serengeti. The staff... More
