If it could go wrong, in terms of service and hospitality, it certainly did. A few of our experiences: - Lost reservation - Stolen car wheel cover for our Nissan Patrol - Mobile phone went mission from room but was recovered - General manager sshhhushing our kids - Waiters shooing us from our table to make room for other guest.... Lots of animals to see in this park. Leopards eating some animal in the tree was pretty cool. I had no problems with the resort – it was huge, very nice pool, and eating area. Game drive in the morning, watched some really cool animals around the resort in the afternoon and another game drive in the evening. I would... More

We've stayed here for a night while driving through Serengeti. The lodge appears to have experienced (or at least have been build for) better times. Despite copious amounts of golden plate and intricate wood carvings in the lobby and a large dining area with lots of leather furniture, the comfort level barely reaches that of a modest youth hostel. At... More

We stayed at Seronera for 3 nights. First at the arrival the family traveling with us had a problem with their reservation what took ages to get sorted. The rooms were way smaller than we'd expected. The floors were very squeeeeaky (we had 3 small children with us, so checking on them at night was a very loud process) +... More

We really like the location, beautiful view and design of pool and restaurant area. Nicely set into the nature with using of big stones typical for Serengeti´s countryside. Even though the pool is not so big it´s good to have the possibility to strech your body after sitting all day in a car. Rooms are not so great, small, very... More

We went to this lodge to visit a friend who was staying there. While we were waiting for our friend to shower and come down to meet us from her room, we were immediately told that if we weren't paying guests, we weren't allowed to order any drinks or food. They even went as far as to inform us that... More

Shame that such a beautiful lodge in such a spectacular location has such poor management and rooms. Main lodge is built into a large kopje and is very unique in design. The adjacent rooms are a one star motel. The lodge location is just the best - from the wonderful observation tower you can see miles and miles of the... More

I really enjoyed this Seronera Wildlife Lodge. Kind lovely people, and service. My laundry was done so quickly and the food was decent. We liked our room and bath. But the architecture was truly exciting: like Frank Lloyd Wright. Beautiful integration between the outcroppings of boulders and hotel. Quite surprising, strong, lean and serene. The great granite makes glorious walls.... More

We stayed at the Seronera Wildlife Lodge for three evenings during our three-week safari tour of Northern Tanzania. The lodge is basic but very well maintained. However, it is located in a spectacular setting. They have built the lodge in and around a large kopje, which makes for a pretty unique and interesting setting. The rooms are dormitory style similar... More

We only stayed here one night. The location in the Serengeti was wonderful. We were able to do an early morning game drive before returning to the hotel for breakfast. They even put out hot beverages and cookies for those heading out early (6am). The restaurant had an absurd rule that you could not have more than 4 people at... More
