We stayed 3 nights at Sayari and this was the 4th camp we'd been to. It is more a permanent camp than a tented camp and the rooms are huge. Sliding glass doors (we kept open and used the fly screens) a huge bathroom and bath and a shower big enough to hold a good sized party in. Some rooms... More

Sayari was the last camp I stayed at during my eight day safari and I was there for two nights. The accommodations were absolutely incredible. The tent was only a tent in the most minimal way with sliding glass doors to observe the scenery, wood floors, deep soaking tub with a view and just well appointed overall - even compared... More

"We booked a three-days safari a Sayari Tented Lodge in the Northern Serengeti, close to the famous Mara River. After a flight from Arusha Airport, we were very warmly welcomed by our host and with her we composed our stay: out in the savanne before sunrise, home just before dark, breakfast and lunch packed in the car. And that for... More

My wife and I spent 4 nights at Sayari Camp as part of our honeymoon in October 2014. The facilities are wonderful: you get your own "tent" which is finished with hardwood floors, glass doors, a comfortable bed, and a very nice bathroom with ample hot water; the common areas are larger tents finished in a similar fashion; and the... From the moment one enters Sayari Camp, there are "Pinch-Me" moments. This northern Serengeti luxurious tented-camp is located on the banks of the Mara River - Kenya is visible due north. Sayari is designed to take advantage of viewing a parade of animals wandering on the river's banks, notably numerous elephants herds with a variety of entertaining youngsters. Evenings will... More

Sayari was very nice and much better managed than Little Oliver’s (all an Asilia property). For example, while we generally ate dinner at the group table, on our last night we asked to eat alone to review our trip together as a family and they could not have been nicer. Also, the managers there are not intrusive, but are present... More

If you plan to venture to the northern Serengeti and get and opportunity to stay in the region I highly recommend this tented camp. We were only able to stay here for two nights, but if you can afford it, both in time and money, then I would stay here at least three of four nights. The term tented camp... More

Stunning setting, exceptional service and luxury tents! Ross and Kathryn run a first rate camp. We loved the bush TV and communal dinners with wonderful conversations. We enjoyed meeting Brandon and Pietra from the Asilla Group. Our guide Emmanuel managed to find us the big 5 plus cheetah and a zebra birth all the first day, amazing and great fun.... More

We have just had three wonderful nights at Sayari Camp. With the rains coming early this year we missed the river crossings of the Wildebest migration but Mesenga, our fabulous guide, managed to find a few stragglers crossing which was heart stopping for us as crocodiles tracked their panicky progress across the river, what can a major crossing be like?... Wow! We saw it all at this camp - From lions and hippos wandering through our camp at night to incredible game drives during the day. The guides could not have been more helpful - Albert wanted to find us every animal and he covered many miles looking for the elusive rhino! Kathryn and Ross who run the camp are... More
