Stayed 3 nights in late March 2009 as part of 9 day safari. A nice lodge, in a nice setting, but with surly desk staff. The Serengeti is an amazing park and this hotel offers a nice respite from the long days out on game drives. As a large hotel, you get luxuries that we didn't find as often in smaller ones *regular and consistent hot water in the bathroom *decent internet connection to send an email home to let everyone know we were fine... more

A little bumpy to get to....but a terrific location from which to see the great animals in the park. The hotel is fine -- although the Tse Tse flies are really bothersome. Stayed here for one night in mid-December. The ambiance and decor are very nice and we got an escort to our room. The food was very nice - good selection for both dinner and breakfast. I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at the Serengeti Serena Lodge. The atmosphere was amazing and none of the pictures I've seen do it justice.
