We were upgraded to this camp by our tour operator so were blown away with the luxurious tent, complete with four poster beds, good shower and lovely veranda. It was lovely to unwind after a days driving watching the buffalo outside our tent and the security staff were always on hand to escort us if any solitary or threatening buffalo... More

Excellent tented camp in the north of Serengeti. Delicious food. Best service. The elephant often comes to camp during night, very exciting. King size bed with mosquito net in camp, clean and light. A small gift shop, but has a lot of products.

The tents are very large, nicely furnished, with large mosquito nets over the beds. The shower has lots of pressure and hot water. The roof over the tents has a second layer of canvas which can be noisy in the wind, and also with the tree hyrax and monkeys running around on the roof, but that was the only negative... More

Wonderful "permanent tents" (stone floors, electricity, and wonderful hot and cold running water, of course!) nestled into the shadow of gorgeous granite cliffs, amongst fabulous green savannahs. An amazing place from which to enjoy the Serengeti! The food was wonderful, and the local lorax families make you feel very much at home. Elephants, buffalo, cliff-springers (for which the camp is... I agree with the positive reviews, but you have to be aware of that this is really far into the wilderness, with the charm and conditions that follow. In addition to all other impressions of both Tanzania and Mbuzi Mave this was were we experienced the probably worst thunder- and rainstorm of our lives! It was soundwise worse than standing... Wonderful experience and our favorite lodging in Tanzania. This was an experience of a lifetime made memorable by our guide Emmanuel Nassari. Ask for him by name at Naipenda Safaris. The tented camp was special because of the excellent service and luxurious rooms in the middle of the Serengeti. Listening to the animals outside of our tent at night was... More

I have been dreaming and planning a Tanzanian Safari trip and I was so exited at the prospect of staying at one of these beautiful locations but mostly every lodge or camp has had this problem with money coming up missing.. I hate to say this but this discourages me from wanting to even go. why spend thousands of dollars... More

This is a smaller tented camp with only 16 tents. Tents: The actual tents are very luxurious with two queen sized beds, plenty of room for sitting and a desk. The bathrooms are also large, including an area for luggage, charging station, sinks, shower and toilet. The layout is very well thought out, despite all the camera equipment and luggage,... More

My family and I stayed for two nights in January. The "lodge" is situated in the northern part of the Central Serengeti. Meaning one has easy access to the central part of Serengeti i.e. Seronera, as well as the Northern Serengeti like the Lobo area. It will take one about 45minutes to either side of the park. This was precisely... More

This is a lovely unfenced tented camp on a rocky hill with a fabulous view over the Serengetti. We had a long drive from the Masai Mara and were feeling a little weary but on arrival our weariness disappeared with a cool drink and being shown our gorgeous tent. The lovely guard who walked us up to the dining tent... More
