I was very nervous about staying here, as I've never camped before, but I needn't have worried. We were warmly welcomed by our guide Ronald & his colleague after a very long journey. We were driven to the camp site, which was about 35-40 minutes away from the air strip. Within ten minutes of our drive, we'd seen two elephants... More

Nicely situated bordering the famous Serengeti national park in Tanzania. Its located in a nice location. During the annually wildebeest migration can be seen just outside of your tent. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly. During the night wild animals walk around the tents. They even have wifi internet.

We spent two nights here for our tour of Serengeti and this is probably pretty much as good as a tented lodge gets (actually, the word 'tent' doesn't really begin to describe the rooms). The surroundings, rooms, service, food; everything was excellent. Extensive use of solar power made sure there was 24 hour lights and good supply of hot water... More

My husband and I spent 3 days at the lodge after completing a Kilimanjaro summit. The lodge, the views, the wildlife, the people, all just breathtaking! Ronald, our safari guide and driver, was fabulous. Warm, friendly, engaging and very knowledgeable. He went to great lengths to make our experience unforgettable in the best sense. At the lodge, everyone was always... More

Dont be misled by the word 'tent'! The walls may be canvass but the tents sit on stone stilts, have huge double beds, incredibly powerful showers and unspoilt views of the Serengeti. The camp is right in the heart of the Grumeti reserve and animals are free to wander in. You have to be accompanied by a guard if you... More

I thought we’d never get here, but worth the drive for 2 nights. It’s a really nice property, with terrific tents. Staff was great, with plenty of security. The bar area was very nice with bar tender & server very friendly & attentive. The buffet was pretty & beyond yummy. I had a couple curries that were the best I’ve... More

This is a lovely tented lodge just outside Serengeti national park. It is not fenced and at night you can really hear the animals. We heard lions and a lot of hyenas ( which can make a very scary hissing noise when you don't know what animal made the noise until you ask in the morning!). The food was good,... More

After climbing Kilimanjaro and living in a tent for more than a week it was very welcome to stay in such luxury in the wilderness. Our first night was a barbecue by the pool that included a fun display of African music and dancing by the fire pit that was almost magical. The staff are all friendly, courteous and helpful... Cottages are comfortable and nicely planned, beautiful surrounding with good seat-out facility in cottage to relax the evening while back from safari. We stayed here for 3 nights during our Serengeti Safari. The rooms have everything you need and they are very comfortable. You can have those warm showers after a long day on a safari. All the staff are very helpful. The lounge view of the area around the lodge is amazing. The breakfast and dinner dining was spectacular. Everyone was... More
