Alex and Robin were top notch hosts during our stay in the northern Serengeti. Our private driver and spotter were so friendly and professional. The pre-dinner drinks around the fire followed by family style dinner in the tent were a treat after a full day game drive. We got to see the great migration while in the north which was... More

We stayed at the mobile camp in March. Amazing! A once in a lifetime experience! This is the ultimate Safari Camp. If you have ever dreamed of going on a safari or just visiting the Serengeti, this is the camp you want to stay at. It is located within the Serengeti so there are no long rides in and out... More

This is all proper safari camping should be. Not luxury but service second to none. We have had excellent service in other camps over the years but this is the first time we found that the owners/managers had a genuine affection for their guests. Both camps are in lovely wooded situations, but close to the Serengeti Plain. Alex himself met... More

I really wanted to like this camp near the Southern Serengeti, but just too many little things were not as they should be, given the price. After reading previous reviews we really were looking forward to staying at this mobile camp. We are experienced safari goers and have been to Africa many many times. Unfortunately, this has been my least... More

Thanks so much to Laurie2020 for the feedback – we are delighted that you enjoyed the walking, and that you got on so well with your guide and tracker. Seeing the rare wild dog is a unique experience, and we are glad you had that opportunity. Our Serengeti South camp is more focused on the kind of walking safaris you... More

This review is for the Serian Mobile camp in the Serengeti, which I believe is only operated seasonally in the Southern Serengeti. We stayed here for 3 nights at the end of our trip. With only 4 tents, this camp is smaller and quiet but the service is superb, food was great, and we had it to ourselves for half... More

The animals are awesome, the lodging is excellent fun, but it's the people that pushed this adventure over the top! Our extended family, including young adult kids and 90 year-old parents, just returned from 4 wonderful days on the Serengeti. Our guides were top flight, and Robyn and the campsite team were soliticious to our every need, making sure hot... More

My wife and I stayed for 4 nights at the end of October. Although the great migration had already started heading south, we were still able to see lots of resident game. The game drives were a step up from the other legs of our trip. What made our game drives here so good were: - Our own vehicle, driver-guide... More

Alex Walker's Serian camp exceeded our expectations in every way: accommodations, customer service, food, wildlife, scenery, serenity, and on and on. We went there to see the animals - wish we had spent more time taking in the landscape and spirituality of the place and had allowed the animal watching to be secondary. If you go there, try to smell... More

We spent four days at the Serian Serengeti North camp, and I will remember the experience for the rest of my life. The access to the wildlife is truly remarkable-- we were up close with lions, cheetah, black rhino, leopards, zebra, cape buffalo, elephant, hyena, giraffe, hippo, and crocodiles, as well as seeing at least one hundred thousand wildebeest and...
