We stayed at this lovely camp for 3 days, a week ago, and found Katerina and Bellinda to be delightful managers. Gerard, the other joint manager was our guide for 2.5 days and was clearly bored stiff and past it. He never spoke to the four of us at all unless we asked him a question and responses were minimal.... More

A short review- it has all been said in the other reviews. This camp is incredible. The tents are lovely and very well equipped - managing to have flush toilets and perfect showers when there is no running water is quite a feat! Bring ear plugs - the lions roaring outside your tent and the wildebeest bellowing can disrupt sleep!... More

Another person I was on the trip with has already posted so I won't repeat everything that was said, but I will say that the attention to detail at this particular camp was unmatched anywhere else on our trip. From Benedict and Puis being at the airport when we arrived and taking care of all the paperwork to Belinda waving... More

We just returned from our first trip to Tanzania and were lucky enough to stay at Alex Walker's Serian North. We were at the camp for 3 nights, which was a lovely amount of time to stay. We booked our trip through African Travel Resource and they did a fantastic job from start to finish-- the entire journey was seamless.... More

We stayed here for 5 nights for the first part of our honeymoon. It says they are a mobile camp. They move once or twice a year from the north to the south of the Serengeti in the direction the herds go. This does not mean they pack up and move each month as the animals move to be close... More

There's really nothing to improve on. The accommodations are terrific. The food and the staff couldn't be better, and the setting is amazing. What really sets it apart from other locations is the quantity and quality of the wildlife. Nowhere else have we seen so many animals! It's my #1 recommendation to anyone looking to take a trip.

Almost 12 months since our most amazing experience in 35 days in Africa. Everywhere we went was amazing. Each location and experience was something special and it isn't fair to single out one place. However being at Alex Walkers when the mega herds were there was something we will never forget. The hospitality and friendship of all at the camp... More

Finally, after two months, adding my voice to the chorus of high, higher, highest praise for the Alex Walker camps we stayed at -- Serengeti South and Kusini. Why? Superior standards in all regards delivered in a relaxed atmosphere. But not sloppy; there is a well-oiled machine at work behind all that we received -- before dinner drinks by a... More

Spent four nights here for our honeymoon back in February. Had such an incredible experience and could not imagine ever going back to the Serengeti and not staying here. All of the staff was incredibly friendly and made us feel so welcome. James ran the camp and he did such a fantastic job taking care of our every need. My... More

We stayed at Alex Walker's Serian mobile camp. It was a true safari experience where guests are subject to limited water supply, i.e, bucket showers. Additionally, phones have weak receptions on the plain with no wifi available. Highlights: Each guest were assigned with private guide and spotter. Off road game driving, walking safari, and extremely friendly owner and management where... More
