I've stayed in many camps during my trips in Africa. I've stayed at this camp a couple of times and it doesn't disappoint. As a photographer, I have everything I need: close proximity to animals, charging stations, hot water for a nice shower after a long day and good food to keep me going day in day out. Staff are... We spent 3 nights at the camp. This was listed a mid-level on the budget scale, but it was above and beyond what we expected. Hot showers, wonderful tented accommodations. The food was great as well. We were able to spend some time with the wonderful staff as they were very nice. From our tent, we were able to get... More

We spent two nights at Nasikia Luxury Camps during our safari. The USP of this place is its location - smack bang in the middle of the Serengeti. There couldn't be a better way to experience what the Serengeti has to offer than by staying here. The tents are large with a double bed and a large single bed, replete... More

I had no idea what to expect at the camp. I was pleasantly surprised. The tents were great and spacious with a separate bathroom and a shower. The food was yummy and plentiful. You could hear the animals at night and we had giraffes walking through our campsite. This was my first trip to Africa and I can't wait to... More

Luxury tent, still a tent, with basic comforts: inside shower and toilet (limited water as there is no running water and they fill tanks, but hey, what were you expecting in the middle of Serengeti?), but that is part of the charm. Very friendly staff and very nice atmosphere.

The Nasikia Luxury Camp was exactly how we had pictured it would be and exactly what our Safari planner had said it would be like. The tents at the camp were very spacious and neat. They had taken care of every small detail. It was indeed a luxury accomodation in terms of facilities that were made available within the tent.... More

We also traveled with Maasai Wandering with Amos and Peter (excellent guides and tour group). The location and accomodation of Nasikia was excellent. The tents were well appointed, hot shower arranged in the afternoon. The meals were unbelievable. My friends and I visited the chef and kitchen - the organization was impressive. Meals served on linen with crockery. Fresh baked... More

What a fantastic place with awesome food! I also highly recommend David with Maasai Wanderings, who brought us here. Everything the previous people said is true. Nowhere else did we have peanut butter soup! We could hear lions roaring and hyenas cackling at night, and water buffalo came through the camp at night. I highly recommend this camp, and during... With the help of excellent guides, Nas and Nickson ( Maasai Wanderings, highly recommended) we were very pleased with the camp's accommodations and location. Accommodations consisted of large spacious tents with comfortable beds with mosquito nets, flush toilets, hot showers and had electrical charging system for batteries. The staff were very friendly and very helpful. The food was excellent. This... More

The tents are amazing - the walls of the tent even has windows that you can zip up at night. The bed is very comfortable and you have your own real toilet and sink (even though it's not really plumbing per say, it's as good as it's going to get in the wild!)The shower is outside attached to the tent,...
