Faru faru has a very low key almost beach vibe. The staff and service was excellent Jackie the manager was excellent and always warm and helpful We loved Massaka and Ed who made our visit so special. What really makes Singita a cut above is that they are on a private game reserve which means that they and only they... More

Thank you so much for this review, we really appreciate your honest feedback. We were very disappointed to hear that the food, wine and extras didn’t match our sister lodges in South Africa, but I can assure you this has galvanized us even more to strive for ongoing improvement! The air-conditioning issue is a real concern, and we are currently... More

Having never been on safari before, we had little idea of what to expect on our honeymoon trip to Faru Faru. Suffice to say this was so far beyond any expectations we could possibly have had it's hard to imagine it really exists. Everything was of the very highest quality - extraordinary food, exceptional rooms with wonderful views and exquisite... More

Great staff and Guides. Room is spectacular. They have an excellent chef that provides a wide variety of delicious options. The setting here is story book. The game drives have been very exciting. Seeing the game in the open landscape is so spectacular and it's exciting to see so much movement.

We stayed at both Singita Faru Faru and Sasakwa. They were both incredible in their own ways. Jeremia was our safari guide and was incredible. Stephen was our waiter and he was incredibly attentive and thoughtful. The entire staff exceeded every expectation. And the food was absolutely incredible. They couldn't do enough to make us happy - it was the... More

We stayed at Faru, Tented camp, and visited Sasakwa. Faru was by far the best. The atmosphere was amazing, overlooking the watering hole, I walked into the outdoor shower and spooked a cervet sipping on a puddle of water in the middle of the shower. I turned the faucet on just as a lion was vocalizing his annoyance at a... More

Lodge, contemporary safari chic. Food, the seafood barbecue was my husband's favourite dinner, in Africa for this safari. Everyone has looked at the photos. The lodge is fab. Shower outdoors with thunder, so special. We are in the middle of nature. Saw black and white columbus monkeys from our window. How special! Loved the musicians before dinner, brunch in the... More

My husband and I had been to Tanzania before, but never on a safari. It was a truly wonderful way to experience our first one. The internet is surprisingly good (my husband and I needed to keep up on some work emails) and the property even had a gym. The amount and diversity of game we saw was outstanding and... More

Beautiful, spacious, and well decorated rooms, their more contemporary style fit our personal taste, which is how we came to select this camp over other Singita properties. Service was personalized and attentive. Food was very good and the cook went to great efforts to meet our dietary requirements. Excellent internet connection everywhere. The camp has a sort of "bush" feel... More

We stayed here in June 2015. This was our fourth time staying at a Singita property but, our first time in Tanzania. We had an amazing time yet again. If you love going on safari, Singita is the best all round experience ever! The only downside for me was the outside shower - I got munched by tetse flies -... More

My husband and I had been dying to go on Safari in Tanzania and so we started doing research at the beginning of the year. Conveniently, several of our friends in NYC had been to Tanzania in the past few years and every single one of them highly recommended the Singita properties. So we called a travel agent and put...
