We had the privelege of staying at &Beyond's Serengeti Under Canvas from January 6th-10th, 2015 for four nights and it was simply surreal. Prior to arriving, I had reservations on the value for money, given the cost of our adventure however after four nights in the Serengeti with the &Beyond team we can assure you it is worth every penny.... First of all we have to thank to Jomandie Habari from the εBeyond-group for the organisation of our trip trough Tanzania which included the visiting of 4 Lodges in the mid of December 2014. Your programming was perfect, all the connections by car and airplane where perfect fitting and we had never to wait. In all lodges we had very... More

My husband and I took "the trip of a lifetime" to Africa September 2014. One of our camps was Serengeti Under Canvas and it was spectacular. Yes, you are really in a tent with canvas walls, roof, and floor. There is no running water, but there are beautiful brass reservoirs with basins - one on the "front porch" and the... More

We were one of only 3 couples in early January 2015. Tenting was never so luxurious and bucket showers were perfect. We were given complete freedom of schedule with our own wonderful butler Solomon and game drive guide Godson. Although the migration had not started, the game drives with Godson were exceptional. The Serengeti is beyond description - open space... More

Our family of four (2 adult children) spent four days, three nights, at Serengeti under Canvas. It turned into our best safari experience so far (4-5 previous safaris, in Kenya, Zimbabwe and South Africa). The high rating is a combination of two main aspects. 1, Staff treated us fantastically well. Friendly, attentive (for example, extra efforts to serve our food... More

We were there in Dec, when the camp is near the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. We were spoiled because this area allows off roading, so we could get very close to the animals. Our guide, Anthony was one of the best we've ever had, and that is after having stayed in over a dozen lodges. The tents are luxurious, the food... More

We were picked up by our Guide, Robert, who was wonderful. He had the most beautiful manner and his exuberance about the animals and his intent in showing us the best safari he could was much more than his job – it was more like a passion. It was about an hour and a half drive from the airport to... More

We stayed there for three nights during our honeymoon and I will never forget the entire experience. It's different from everything I've done so far! It was a perfect choice going to Serengeti since we had previously visited the Lake Manyara Tree Lodge. The vegetation and wildlife there are quite different from what you see in Lake Manyara so it... More

After staying in some very nice tented camps, we stayed for three nights at Serengeti Under Canvas. We enjoyed the experience, and really are missing very few of the amenities of an ensconced tented camp. I was surprised at how good the food was and how warm and smokey the shower water was. We really enjoyed those things. The tent... More

We wanted to see the great migration, and the ngorongoro crater. We couldn't decide between the several AndBeyond camps and chose a 6 night trip, 2 nights at Klein's camp, 2 at Serengeti under Canvas and 2 at the ngorongoro crater. Each camp has its perks. Unfortunately we were too late to see the great migration in its full strength,... More
