This was booked by Exodus as part of our successfully Kili' climb. It's deep in the heart of rural Tanzania so don't expect great luxury. You get clean en-suite twin rooms, polite staff, adequate food choice and decent bar & pool area. They store unwanted gear whist you ascend Kili' and upon your return the only downside is no lifts;... more

We were booked into this hotel prior to our climb of Kilimanjaro by our climbing company. The rooms and grounds were very nice to look at and stay in and we felt very safe with all of the security. However, no mosquito nets or flyscreens to keep out the hordes of mosquitos, the hot water was not always reliable and... more

Our tour on Exodus booked us into the Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort and it was a great place to rest up pre summit and wash up post summit. We were originally scheduled to stay at Kibo Hotel, an older establishment down the road from Kilimanjaro Mountain Resort (KMR), but about a month before our trip, the climbing company we were using to climb Kili switched us to KMR (Kibo was getting a lot of negative feedback from guests).
