I feel very lucky and privileged to have enjoyed a fantastic week in Tanzania. My hotel, the Mediterraneo was everything I could have asked for and despite being a little way out of the city centre allowed access to most places within 30 mins. I took a taxi from the city center and the driver had problems finding the location, it is at least a 1 hour drive. The reception staff is friendly and helpful, the rooms are mediterranean style however those with garden view are extremely dark which made it necessary to turn on the lights even in daytime.
