We were put up in this hotel by Precision Airways when our flight from Zanzibar to Nairobi was cancelled and we were re-routed via Dar-es-Salaam. Fortunately we only stayed there for two and half hours before our taxi collected us at 3 a.m. to take us back to the airport.

I stayed in Hotel karibu in August 2006. It's just off Haile Selassie Road on Msasani Peninsula. Although the rooms are air-conditioned and clean, the hotel is clearly over its prime. The restaurant is under average. For good food go around the corner to Hot in Africa.
