I was totally and completely pleasantly surprised at such completeness for a hotel in Dar es Salaam, excellent service, spotlessly clean, rooms equipped with everything you could ever need, the decor is superb, rooms are spacious, view is great. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

I was fortunate to stay eight of the twenty nights I was in Tanzania at the Hyatt Kilimanjaro. It was our favorite of the places we stayed. The rooms are nice by Western standards, the breakfast buffet is fantastic, the rooftop lounge has a great view and atmosphere - even the techno music was survivable. The staff was friendly and... A very nice and clean hotel in the heart of the city. Staff are very polite and helpful. Rooms are large and clean with great views of the bay (at least mine was). Selection at breakfast is vast (with Western and local choices) and the buffet leaves you wondering what to eat with it's great selection of savory and sweet... More

Friendly staff, great facilities. If you get the room with the view to the ocean, you will love it even more. Infinity pool is very nice. Casino was closed for remodeling. Roof top bar is very nice. Wi Fi wuality is 10/10 everywhere. Gym quite complete. Can't thank enough to all the staff, specially Joachim. Lovely stay.

Wonderful luxerious rest after a long road trip. Breakfast was amazing, however the Asian restaurant can improve (the green & red curries are nothing to write home about). Good rooftop bar to relax and enjoy a sundowner. Great spa, had a super massage by Thai staff - probably the best in Africa! Client service is very good. The Hyatt has... More

Excellent location. Excellent rooms, Excellent wifi. Excellent restaurants. Excellent pool and gym. This is solid 4 star hotel anywhere, and a 5 star for Africa. I really enjoyed my stay here. Clean, safe, relaxing.

We hosted an event at the hotel, making use of their conference venue as well. We had to wait quite a while to complete our check-in, but after that everything was great! Rooms, food and service was awesome. They are a bit pricey, but will definitely go back.

Although the rates are amongst the most expensive in Dar city, Hyatt offers global business travels the ease of settling in as the layout and the services across the globe is quite standardised. The facilities are properly maintained and staff are very helpful.

Had a three day conference at the hotel, and this is my 3rd or 4th visit to it. It's one of my favorite hotels in all of East Africa. Great rooms, comfortable beds, amazing shower, good internet, and great service. Highly recommended for anyone. Very close to business district and government offices. The roof deck has an amazing view.

Absolute delight - impeccable service, great rooms and quality food. The shish open area is a great place to hang out in the evenings. Always a delight to come back here - I am a frequent visitor and surely look forward to getting back. Tip : get a sea facing room.
