One of the few large hotels in Dar. It has all basic ammenities. Food choice is limited but good. The hotel has a nice pool and fitness center. The rooms are well equiped with modern faciliites. more

Descent hotel with descent ambience and aminities. I will not recommend this plaace to anyone. I had a morning 5 am international flight to catch and the reception missed my morning alarm with a convenient "Sorry". I almost missed my flight. Not expected fthis rom a 4* hotel reception. more

Perfect for our needs, one night stay before flying early the following morning. Lovely staff, clean rooms, coffee place on the ground floor particularly nice. Very efficient and unusually for a large city centre hotel has character. If i was ever in Dar again i'd stay here. more

I stayed at the Moevenpick Royal Palm Hotel in Dar in November 2008 and found it to be a very good and comfortable hotel and would certainly recommend it to others. When you drive up to this hotel, it sticks out amongst the lowly buildings and empty space around it. It appears a little dull on the outside, but the inside is much more interesting. We stayed here for one night before going on safari. It was very clean and comfortable. The room was reasonably well appointed and quite spacious. Staff were very friendly.
