I had a first floor room with the ocean views. The hotel is right on the water so day and night you can enjoy in the sound of the sea waves. Almost everything was perfect: nice decor, pitch-black shades so you can sleep late in the morning, quiet A/C. The food in the restaurant that serves breakfast was fantastic (especially... More

We spend only one night in this Hotel in our way to South Africa. The service was really good. The room was huge and very beautiful. It has a nice swim pool and great view to Indic Ocean. It has three restaurants options and a Cassino. They have a early breakfast and transfer to the airport.

I had stayed at the Sea Cliff years ago and been there for an excellent meal a couple of times but not been there for a couple of years . I arrived mid-morning after an overnight flight and change of planes so was feeling a little ragged . Check-in was smooth and the room was well appointed . I had... More

Whether you are on a business trip or on holidays, I think that this is the best hotel in Dar es salam. It is very charming, very relaxed environment, excellent food and very polite staff. I would definitely come back and stay at the Sea Cliff

The hotel has a perfect location on the cliff over the Indian Ocean. The view from the restaurant on the terrace is absolutely remarkable. The stuff is very helfpul and always ready to give advices (special plus for the concierge!). The rooms are comfortable, some disadvantage is a smell of substance against mosquitos. Breakkfast buffet not to forget. I would... More

The first thing you will notice will be the calm and soothing sea next to the hotel. The location is priceless. The management did a fine job in maintaining a mixture of modern and traditional African atmosphere. The lobby is decorated with pictures of many superstars staying there, including Angelina Jolie. During my stay i had the privilege of meeting... More

After visiting the Sea Cliff for lunch, I moved over to the hotel from the DoubleTree. This is an absolutely lovely hotel! The grounds are beautiful, the staff are friendly and courteous, and the rooms...the rooms are beautiful! My room looked directly out at the Indian Ocean, every morning I woke to a beautiful sunrise over the ocean! It was... More

We just got back from a three nights stay at this Hotel and have to say, that, everything about this place was lovely. We were greeted nicely with a smile, something to drink and were escorted by a Masai to our comfortable, modern room. We had a picturesque sea view. The sleep, shower and temperature of the room were perfect.... More

Great location at the end of the peninsula and fantastic views out over the ocean. Convenient amenities right next door including supermarket, pharmacy and a couple of small restaurants. The cafe is great as is the breakfast. My room was ok, a bit tired and I had to ask the hotel (twice) to clean the bathroom as it was a... More

I have stayed at the Sea Cliff since it was built (and burnt down). I have never been disappointed. The service is always good and the rooms well serviced. A bit far from the office and with the traffic congestion worse than ever, arriving at the hotel lowers the stress. The hotel is always improving services and even on a... More
