As a family we stayed for 23 nights in Exec rooms as we searched for an apartment, so we feel well-qualified to rate levels of service. We went through the whole menu and never disappointed nor upset tums. There is a great friendly feel through the whole hotel. Senior management - Moses extremely professional. Patricia, Wambura, Helen and colleagues at... More

This is a once in a life time kind of hotel, classy, beautiful, well worth it, and most importantly homely. Everything you need is just at the door step and I even had the owner Veer Patel personally greet me. I love the restaurants and all the staff who were super pleasant.

As far as quality hotels go, the Sea Cliff is a wonderful place to stay, either for work or vacation. The staff are helpful, the rooms are clean, and the pool, shops, and casino provide plenty of entertainment during your stay. (Note the shops onsite are quite over-priced, but do undoubtedly provide high-quality products. For more affordable shopping and restaurants,... More

With the upgrading and repairs now complete, the hotel has a new feel about it, updated and clean, its a lovely place to spend a weekend or a week. The main restaurant has a wonderful selection of foods that are quite good, the breakfast menu could do with an upgrade although its not bad in general. The hotel staff are... More

Very good hotel with adequately furnished and equipped rooms. Beautiful swimming pool overlooking the ocean. Breakfast buffet with a good selection of dishes. Staff mostly friendly and helpful. The boutiques are not of a great interest and the hair salon is very expensive.

Brief stay on business. Service reasonable, staff very pleasant, facilities good, hotel clean. Free Wi-Fi just about adequate. Room (128) O.K. but bathroom/toilet could not have been any smaller and view from the window was of the back of a row of solar panels - rather unattractive. Air conditioning fine. Ensure you get a sea facing room. Had an excellent... More

It is very easy to say this is the best hotel and leave it at that. But this hotel does still have it's niggles. We love our time here and find the staff friendly, helpful and efficient. The Karambezi restaurant has high prices but great food and great service. But sometimes things are not maintained (AC, WiFi) and the standard... More

Our family of 5 spent one night here after an 8 night safari in Tanzania. After arriving at the DAR airport, a car service picked us up and drove us the 45 minutes it took to arrive at the Sea Cliff. At first, I was wishing we had booked a hotel near the airport but as we were driving through... More

I have stayed here three times. It is a great hotel, a few downsides, but mostly great. The pool is fantastic, with an awesome view. The bar service at the pool can be slow sometimes, especially if there are a lot of people, but be patient and nice to the servers and you get what you want. The pool area... More

Lovely Hotel, service was great. Great ambience and decor. Enjoyed my meals at Karembezi restaurant. Had a good stay and their conference rooms were up to par. Small problem, but not alarming, was with their wifi, I hope they have worked on it by now. Could connect to iPad but had problems connecting with laptop.
