Sadly I think this hotel (Village Rooms they call it) has seen better days due to cheap fixture, fitting, furniture and finishing. Simply put this hotel is very poor. I stayed here for work purposes, so I can be thankful that I did not have to pay for the misfortune of this visit. My stay in July 2007 was my second, and I was not disappointed. I had a nice, newly renovated room in the main building, good service, and good food at the Karambezi restaurant. If I was staying in a hotel in Dar again I would definitely choose the Sea Cliff. more
