The location is really lovely and romantic..very good if you are with your family, with your boyfriend or alone. Choose... More

This Hotel has been recommended to me due to its strategic setting in the Peninsula. Truly a little have in a very busy city. The hotel is currently building an extension and one can only imagine the view at sunset! Rooms are clean and sufficient and definitely worth the rates they are charging. Will be back!

Well, it is not a five star plus hotel. But being on the peninsula a great hotel overlooking the ocean. The rooms have the basics and very clean. Looking forward to see the new rooms of the extension, which should be ready in some month. Bigger and more exclusive. The great thing with this hotel, is the different dining option... More

Stayed here with a group. Felt a little isolated as it is on a peninsula. There are 2 restaurants in the compound, plus some shops, including a fairly large and very convenient grocery store with food and sundries. It was open ealy to late hours. There is a pier with access to boat (rides) for rent. The pool, annoyingly, is... More

We loved our stay at Slipway for several reasons. The rooms are clean, free wifi, great breakfast at the Terrace, lovely beachside outdoor restaurant, nice pool, etc. The hotel staff were amazing. Very accommodating and friendly. We stayed for a few days and then left to go on Safari for a week. The hotel staff let us leave our extra... More

Good location, better priced than the average hotel on the peninsula. However rooms could definitely have been cleaner and better finished and equipped. Also you are in a shopping plaza, so the ambiance is a bit lacking. Pool deck is beautifully situated, but at some stage you're going to have to return to your room..

Adequate small room with little storage, it's obviously mainly used by people like ourselves who stay before or after a tour. The twin beds were narrow and the bathroom was minute but it did the job. The pool was a decent size, the gym was adequate and the evening meal we had was well cooked and enjoyable. All in all... More

This place has a GREAT location next to shops and restaurants, all overlooking the Indian Ocean! The fitness center was great and had new equipment. The restaurants in the area serve delicious food, and there are several crafts shops nearby, including a flea market on Saturdays. The hotel is just outside the city, but definitely worth the drive for the... More

I stayed here on a work trip. It is in a very convenient location on the peninsula. If you regularly need to head into town and back, you need to be prepared to deal with Dar es Salaam's notorious traffic. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. Be aware that not all the rooms look like the ones featured... More
