this hotel underwent a renovation recently as it seems. the rooms are nice, clean and rather large. service was good, as I expected from a 4 star hotel, the receptionists speak at least english, french, spanish and german. it was quite our whole stay. The pool is not that large but big enough for swimming around. I got a good... More

The rooms were decent with a clean bathroom, but our door was ajar when we arrived. We went down to the front desk who did not seem to share our confusion, nor did they really appreciate our concern. The food was mediocre as well.

Although I have stayed at this hotel on other occasions this was a few years ago and in general it was not bad. However, my last stay has been a veritable nightmare. The cabaret/discotheque/bar in this hotel has always(as far as I can remember in the past ten years) been a meeting place for 'ladies of ill-repute', as long as... More

Very close to the port so handy for our departure the following morning but not particularly well located for much else. Room was OK but if you wanted a bath rather than a shower, tough as there was no plug. My marble topped bedside table had sticky stuff on it which had to be wiped off before use. The staff... More

I've stayed here with my family several times and occasionally lamented the old decor. NOT this time. The hotel is undergoing renovation and I stayed in one of the new rooms. The bed was comfy and the decor very clean and relaxing. I was on my own for 8 days and was treated with courtesy and good will throughout. The... More

I had the misfortune of staying here for 3 days last week from 8/10/13. On arrival the place looks ok but on closer inspection its very grubby and tacky. Its also very dated. The rooms are a throwback to the 70s and are in dire need of a makeover and modernisation. Windows were so dirty it was difficult to see... More

I had a chance to spend two nights at this secluded hotel in Tangier last August and was happy to find out that the rooms were actually quite throughout the entire propriety. to be able to enjoy tranquility in a bustling Moroccan city in the Summer is unheard of. However, the Intercontinental has accomplished it by finding the perfect location:... More

Stayed Here with work colleagues for one night, arrived very late and hotel arranged pick up from the airport. Nice hotel, basic but has everything you need. Wi fi was excellent, worked straight away. No water in rooms which was a shame as we arrived very late and some of didn't have drinks all night. Hotel staff were friendly and... More

Due to the final ineptitude from our Spanish tour operators we were not picked up from the port when we arrived in Tangiers- the front counter staff at this hotel immediately sorted this out with our local tour company (who were waiting at a different port) and arranged for the rest of the group to be picked up. The staff... More

Truly lovely old hotel oozing with history among its decaying opulent structure. It is unfortunate that its beauty is so marred by its decay! Staying there felt like staying with a Moorish version of the Addams Family! Things do go bump in the night in the bed! Great for backpackers! and Spectacular views of Tangiers' port. It is also very... More
