We arrived at the Rif & Spa on 23rd June and stayed until 26th June. The hotel is charming and the staff could not be more assisting. Having read a few of the reviews the weekend before we were due to arrive, I have to admit we were a little daunted as to what we could expect however, there was... More

The hotel Is not recommended for even family or more than one day vacation or businesses trip , it's normal to ask many times for your needs , and it's very common for most of the reception staff to ignore you if you call for any thing. The hotel is old and it may be authentic , but it's very... More

We stayed here one night recently on our 4-day tour in Morocco. Compared to our hotel in Fez where we stayed two nights--this was better. Our room was 2-story with the bedroom being upstairs. Sounds great in theory until you have to go to the bathroom in the night! It was fitted with all modern conveniences, clean and there was... More

Just 200mts from the sea border and the medina, Rif & Spa is just in front of long Tanger beach and sidewalk. Big reception, good but old restaurant room, good and sufficient self-service food. Nice living rooms, a special restaurant room, a bar with piano music and an enjoyable swimming pool on the backyard. Some space have tipical arabic decoration.... More

If your looking for a romantic stay this hotel is not for you. If your looking for service this hotel is not for you. If your looking for a hotel with no problems this is not for you. The hotel had no air conditioning for 30 hrs, then when it did it dripped into a puddle in our bathroom floor,... More

Rif is a historic hotel in great location which has been refurbished in recent years. It retains the old world charm in many public areas thought the reception and bar are bright and modern. The old restaurant seems old and tired tho! Reception staff delightful but bar man rude and not customer focused at all!! Bedrooms and bathrooms reasonably spacious... More

A really nice friendly hotel, staff were very good, in reception, in the bar cafe, the concierge. Could not complain at all. The rooms were very clean and spacious and it is right on the water front so access to restaurants and nightlife within easy walking distance. Special compliments to the Spa staff for a good massage and and lots... More

I stayed here with a tour group of 13. First sign of trouble was at check-in; they'd lost our reservations. The room was dark and dingy, though it did have a view of the beach - through dirty windows and broken curtains. No one's TVs worked and the front desk staff said they couldn't do anything about it. The restaurant... More

The hotel is conveniently placed, right near the beach and the medina. It looks impressive from the outside, however, the service we received at the hotel left a lot to be desired. Even though we arrived at 8PM, our room was not yet ready and we had to sit in the reception for almost an hour before it was ready.... More

The hotel was good to stay, close to the beach and the boardwalk, with some restaurants in the vicinity and the kasbah and medina are a nice leisurely 10 minute stroll away. The hotel itself has good sized rooms, clean, good wifi and a enjoyable continental breakfast. The bad bit was the check in, we arrived and got told our... More
