Great hotel, beautiful rooms. Room service was really good and so was the food. Nothing else to say but, AM definitely going back there! more

The staff is impressingly friendly and helpful, to the extend I had no cash and a waiter at the bar lend me some, to be reimbursed to him the day after.... Thank you, Aissam ! Good food at the Moroccan restaurant, friendly atmosphere, cosy and quite at the lounges (beautiful surroundings at the Churchill bar, all arabic style !). Really,... more

For the money, you can surely do better. The hotel professed to have no record of my paid reservation, made some weeks in advance, and the relatively young people at the front counter had the attitude that this was my bad luck. They called the manager who suggested I wait until the travel agency opened at some undetermined time later... more

Super nice hotel. Me and my wife had a wonderfull stay. We booked the hotel online with a local travel agency Calypso Tour. In general Tangier is a city that is deveolping a lot and I can warmly recommend spending 3-4 days there. more

I'm not sure you could pay me to set foot in this hotel again. I've deliberately waited a little while before writing this review to calm down and gain some perspective, but the extra time has done nothing to make the treatment we received seem any less unreasonable. I must point out at this stage we didn't actually make it... more

Booked as a mini-break through a Spanish travel agent. Chosen for it's position (good),overlooking Bay of Tangier, Medina and port walkable. 4* rating a bit misleading. Staff willing, but a bit lacking in direction. Rooms, we sampled 2, needed some TLC. No hairdryer or tissues in either bathroom (but the soap was a wonderful shade of blue). Air conditioning not... more

Personally I wouldn't bother and I'm not just talking about the hotel which wasn't great but Tangiers altogether. We arrived there on 7th March, reception area was fine but that was all. Nothing much 4 * about the room, inside the wardrobe and the shelves for your clothes were that dusty and dirty had to clean them all ourselves before... more

We stayed at the Rif March 31st and 1st April 2008. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we arrived at the very pleasant reception desk. The rooms were clean and comfortable with an empty fridge for our use, which we prefer instead of a mini bar. The restaurant was very presentable with nice napery with real flowers on... more

Booked through Hotelopia, which was a good deal. However, after having stayed at the Medina and Spa in Marakech, it was quite disappointing. Staf were lovely, but the restaurant did not open until after 8pm (staff needed to eat first). Coming from Spain for an overnighter, the clock was set back 2 hours which did not help. For a 4... more

Booked this hotel via a weekend package thru travel agent in Spain. Was told it's in the centre of the old town (i'ts not) and was recently renovated (humm funny level of renovation in Tangiers). The reception is not to the level of a 4star but a good 2star European standards. The concierge wears 'les cles d'or' badge, but doesn't... more
