After our second visit to the Hotel Chellah we can only sing it's praises even more. Everything was perfect. The cleanliness of the hotel is incredible, as for the staff, I can honestly say that we haven't encountered such obliging staff in all the years of our travels. Mr Mohammed the head of reception deserves a special mention, he really... More

Stayed for two nights as part of trip from costa del sol. Trip on coach was fine but this hotel is basic to say the least. Rooms were clean but no proper pillows and bathrooms needed complete overhaul. Electric wiring looked dodgy. First room we were given had no shower clip on wall nor a plug for the bath- to... More

I first stayed here 34 years ago when it was also a fine hotel, but then it was winter and I hadn't appreciated its lovely gardens and fine pool. The hotel is quite elegant, yet utterly informal, located roughly where the older part of town blends with the newer, more affluent area - in a residential street where life goes... More

I booked this hotel on the basis of the lovely photos of the pool and shady gardens. Be warned that this oasis had loud rock music pumped into it all afternoon, and I wasn't going to be the only woman in the pool.... The hotel seemed to be used predominantly by Moroccans, and so all the women remained in their... More

Let me start by saying it took over 1 hour to check-in my reserved room. The hotel manager is very rude while the front desk staff is professional and helpful. The rooms are clean with very efficient a/c but are outdated compared to lobby and rest of hotel. I bought a package that included breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and my... More

aged hotel by means of the facility and provided services. No internet of any kind in this hotel, The manager claims availability of internet in the lobby (he right, there is signal without connection). The price of this hotel is good, close to many shops, nice restaurants but I don't recommend this hotel for business travelers.

The location is good if you want to stay outside of the Medina. Otherwise, the hotel is in a bad condition altogether except for the lobby and bar area (which by the way, didn't have rights to sell alcohol). The staff at check-in seem indifferent to you and the lifts were functioning quite badly (over a 3 days' stay, I... More

The hotel is a little dated but clean,Friendly staff and in a good central location, 10 mins to the Medina or a few euros in a Taxi, No beer in the bar as they where waiting for a delivery but local shops had beer and wine at good prices..also many bars sold beer and wine, more than in other Morroccan citys.Free... This was my second stay at the Hotel Chellah and it was like staying at a different (and significantly better) hotel! This time I was in room 202, which is on the other side of the building (the previous time I was in 116 or 216, I don’t remember which). In my room this time, the room had a large... More

I used to love this hotel. I stayed in it frequently from 1996 to 2012. It used to be a nice hotel, class, clean, with friendly staff. It was sad to see it change to a dirty hotel, with old bed, body odor coming from the pillows and the sheers, toilets not working properly, rude staff at the reception, and... More
