In the medina of Tangier lies this beautiful riad. This is one of the most beautiful places I've stayed at in my life. It is a completely separate peace in the riad and the people who work there are incredibly cute. The food was perfect and one of the best meals I've eaten. Really!!! Everything is just amazing and you... More

From the minute you enter to the last day is exceptional hospitality in all areas. We booked the room with the terrace on the top floor which opened up on to the amazing terrace, every detail was thought of. Afternoon tea (free mint tea and biscuits) on the terrace is lovely. we had an amazing evening meal up there too.... More

Great location, nice rooms and friendly staff. Dinner on the terrace overlooking the Straits of Gibraltar was the highlight of our short stay. The tajine was delicious and so was the starter, which consisted of some aubergine (baba ghanoush), savoury rice and salads.

Went to Tangier for two days. We were originally given room #4. Lovely room, but lots of stairs and really difficult to get around in. After I fell and broke my hand trying to negotiate the stairs in the middle of the night, they readily changed rooms for us without the stairs. That room also had a sea view. The... More

La Tangerina, Farida,Jurgen, Mohcine and staff have become part of our short list of family who we are always waiting to visit. The experience of their service, lodging, and meals are unparalelled in all of our travels. A visit to La tangerina for us is not a hotel stay , it's an experience,a retreat. Hotels are usually for sleeping only.Going to Tangiers,... More

This is a fantastic property. We were a family group of 10 people spending two weeks in Spain and 2 days in Tangiers. We chose this place based on other great trip advisor reviews. Location of this bed and breakfast is perfect--in the middle of the kasbah (old walled fortress) and 100 yards from the medina and restaurants, stores and... More

The great door opens ... aaaah .... into a calm and lovely area to sit, read, eat, and look up 5 stories where the rooms are arranged around this inner courtyard. The roof looks to the sea and across the strait of Hercules/Gibralter to Spain. The rooms are all wonderful, some with outer decks some without. The people at the... More

We were given a nice but quite a small room which was more than made up for by the stunning unobstructed views of the straits whilst laying in our double bed. There was even a pair of binoculars beside the bed that allowed us to check out the early morning fishermen hard at work. The breakfast was simple but nice.... More

La Tangerina is perfectly located in the Kasbah area. What made me fall in love with this riad is the view from the terrace, overlooking the vast blue waters. A picturesque sight indeed. We were given a room with 2 single beds with no view. We saw the other rooms which had the ocean view and were bigger. But we... More

We spent one night here at the end of our Moroccan holiday on the way to Spain. This charming Riad is very well located within the Kasbah on top of the hill. It's prominent location gives fantastic views from the roof deck, we could quite clearly see the European coastline. If you don't like stairs beware as there are a... More
