I stayed at Dar Nour for 3 nights and it was not enough... I could have stayed forever. If you like funky, hip, authentic accommodations and people, this place is for you. If you like generic hotels that look the same in every city, and have no sense of adventure, it is not! I can't say enough good things about... More

Our first night in Morocco spent at Dar Nour Tangiers. Situated in the old medina and run by a French Trio. Catherine, Phillipe, Jean-olivier. Our room was lovely with a separate lounge area upstairs adding to the charm. The staff and owners , all very welcoming. We decided to eat in and were served sea bass, beautifully fresh and cooked... Dar Nour is a beautiful place where you feel like home. Every room is an enchantment (we slept in several, the Suite Nour is so peaceful and cozy), the big terraces have amazing view, for a drink after a long day or in the sun for the breakfast... Delightful ! Dar Nour was the first place we stayed in Tangier... More

Tangier was our second stop in Morocco and were not disappointed by the reception we received on arriving at Dar Nour. Philippe greeted us warmly and after serving mint tea explained the Kasbah and sights we should see in Tangier. Phiippe had arrange a taxi to meet us at the station so we had no problems arriving at Dar Nour.... More

After reading good reviews we booked Dar Nour Tangier, our experience was somewhat different and strangely we met people in Fes who had pre warned us on some issues and everything they had alerted us to happened. No one spoke English on our arrival, the wi fi did not work, no one really wanted to help us with our bags,... More

We arrived on a Sunday night and the welcome was nice and friendly. We just loved the place it's so well done. Perfect location in the Kasbah , from there it's possible to walk in any direction. The next day we welcomed 2 American couples who also fell in love with the beautiful place. The Salon Bleu which is the... More

Sunshine, warm breezes, spices, thè de menthe, white walled roof top terraces, cushioned alcoves, bright bold colors, ancient doors, tiles, mosaics, brass trays these were the images in my mind when we arrived in Tangier. Dar Nour did not disappoint! It is made up of the many images that are Morocco, Thank you, Olivier, Christine, Philippe and staff of Dar... More

This was our first stop in Morocco; it was a perfect way to start. The location is excellent, located on a hill, in the Kasbah, overlooking the city. We found the staff very helpful, though English was not their second language, but that was minor. We thought it was an exceedingly well run operation: from the polite and well dressed... More

Very welcoming and friendly people! We travelled with our teenage sons and found this hotel perfect, small, good rooms, unique and well located the amazing old town. A good breakfast on the amazing and lovely roof terrace was a good start to the day. Also fantastic for a drink at night enjoying the view.

We booked the first 3 nights of our Morocco trip in Dar Nour after reading all the good reviews on Tripadvisor, unfortunately our stay did not reflect the good reviews we read. The location is great placing you in the heart of the Kasbah and a short walk to the madness of the Medina. The decor of the riad is... More
