Dar Rif is simply a gem in Tangier. It is located in the heart of the old city close to everything (kasbah, markeds, medina). We arrived four hours before check inn, but where welcomed with kindness and mint tea in the roof terrasse. The staff was very friendly and helped us in every way they could. I would highly recommend... More

Dar Rif is has small rooms, but they are clean and comfortable, the staff if very accommodating and super friendly, a great location inside the Medina, and all that for a low price. I had been to Tangier's Medina before, so I had no problem locating this place from one of the main entrances, and I would say it's actually... More

Incredibly friendly staff (thanks Abdo and Kemal) made this a lovely stay. The facilities are a great value for the low price. The room was clean and adequately furnished, and the rooftop terraces afforded great views of the medina, the city, and the port. It was within easy walking distance of the Ferry to Tarifa. The stairwell was a bit... More

We only stayed here for one night to get a ferry to Spain the next day. We were warmly greeted and offered a mint tea and cake on the beautiful terrace. The hotel is in a good location in the medina and only a ten minute walk from the ferry port and the beach. We booked a double room with... More

Dar Rif was amazing for us. We arrived by bus from Chefchaouene tired and in the rain and Houda, the beautiful woman who greeted us, brought mint tea on the terrace overlooking the port. The room was clean and we even had a little sitting area. The port where we left the next day was a10 minute walk. Abdul on... More

Friendly and helpful staff, quant warm rooms, lovely atmosphere and great breakfast. A welcome oasis from the exhausting medina that it is in the middle of. One negative note I don't think the girl checking us in acknowledged we had paid a 10% deposit and charged us full price but to be fair the rest of the service was fantastic... More

It is located in the old medina. The hotel is very nice and confotable. Even it was a litttle cold in the night i had an electric calefactor in my room. The shower was nice and the water very hot. Breakfast was very complete and it was served in the terrace with view to the city and the sea. Personal... More

We took a room here on a walk in quite late at night in January 2014. We were returning to Tangier for one last night after travelling around Morocco and had hoped to stay at our previous digs next door. As a traditional Moroccan house you know that it will be built around a central well and so noise will... More

Within walking distance of the ferry terminal, in the medina, and a stone's throw from the Continental Hotel, this guest house is an absolute gem. From the moment we stepped through the door we were welcomed and the place felt like home. Only opened in mid 2013, the staff know how to make you feel important. Extremely helpful and pleasant...
