An old charming hotel, don t expect a five star accommodation (maybe someday it will be again) but the staff is nice and you can smell history everywhere. Right near the port so it's perfect for a one night stay coming from or going to Spain. If your driving be careful as the street that takes you to the hotel... More

Our first impression of the hotel was great - it was easy to find, a gorgeous lobby, and friendly staff at the desk. We were the last to check in for the day (around 1800 or 1900), and when we walked in, the man at the desk immediately said "you must be Emily!". As we checked in, he apologized for... More

This hotel is much as one would expect from the other reviews. Its heyday was long ago- but it still feels connected with Tangier of old. The room was smallish but perfectly adequate. The 'cafeteria' (breakfast room) is a marvel of stained glass, intricate tiles and ornate plasterwork. The terrace overlooking the port is lovely. We had a room with... More

We are a family of 4 and so we reserved a quad. We arrived in the ferry from Spain at 10:00 and they were happy to check us in. They gave us the option of keeping our bags of we wanted to wait for an ocean view room to be cleaned. The hotel is right across from where the ferry... More

First- let me just preface that we wanted to stay in a historic hotel in a central location and we got our wish! There is no fitness center or pool but the history, staff and charm were what we were after. Next- parking-a local will be happy to help you for some dirham, however I would suggest going down the... Ok we have to admit that this place has a great view from the front of the hotel. The rooms are sooo old, the locks to the room are old school, everything is old and feels as if it's about to fall apart. We thought we would stay here because its historic and close to the old medina but it... More

Stunning mosques in the restaurant and cafe. There are some nice rooms off the lobby you can sit and enjoy with family. Rooms were nice and clean and pretty quiet at night. The patio outside was very nice, there's construction on the marina across the way but still can certainly appreciate the view. Free wifi in the lobby and rooms.

I have been staying at Continental every spring for over 10 years and it has allways met with my expectations. The building is over 100 years old and represents fine moroccan architecture with zellij tiled walls and stained glass windows. There has been a long process of refurbishing the rooms. I wish the decoration would have been done more in... More

We went there for the history not luxury and we got exactly that. Lunch at the dining room was good, breakfast is also good, got pleasantly introduced to Beghrir (Moroccan pancakes), Khoobz (Moroccan pita), Raghaif (pastry) and best of all, Harira, delicious hearty tomato based bean soup with lentils, spices and meat chunks (never thought I would like bead soup...
