This hotel is situated next to the Casbah steps in what used to be the English Telegraph Office. It is ideal for walks up to the Casbah and through the Medina. The staff are very friendly and speak very good English. They went out of their way to make me comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding. Excellent budget hotel.

Clean recently renovated rooms make for a very comfortable stay! Wifi is good as well! Noise was the only thing we could comment on as it is near a restaurant/cafe that gets a lot of traffic at night that we could hear, but nothing earplugs can't dampen. Rooms were sunny and spacious, front desk was helpful. perfect location to arrive... More

What truly makes a place memorable is the staff. Dar El Kasbah staff were warm, gracious, and well-trained. They showed they were happy in what they were doing. The Dar location is ideal as it is just along the rue Kasbah, a main road, and is part of a walking tour route. According to the genial owner we met, the... More

You step back in time so wonderfully at this property. Lovely luxury in the rooms and common areas, & the staff really want you to enjoy your stay.. The location is ideal for travelers, just steps away from the entrance of the Kasbah, and easy to navigate down to the main circle, and then down to the beach! The breakfast... More

Rooms are very spacious with a separate seating area for tv-watching & lounging. 2min walk from the entrance to the kasbah. Lots of shopping and cafes around the hotel and a traditional souk where locals buy their fruits, veg, fish, etc. The staff at Dar (Hi Noel!) are very friendly and helpful. Nice terrace for sipping mint tea in the... More

Thank you for an amazing experience! We stayed at Dar El Kasbah for three nights on August 1-3, 2014. As soon as we stepped inside, it was like being in paradise. The hosts at this hotel, just outside the medina were superb. They spoke great English and helped us with all our questions. It was easy to reach with a... More

Thanks for a wonderful stay in Tangier Dar El Kasbah! Super friendly hosts, phenomenal breakfast (worth the little extra to have breakfast there), and clean modern rooms. Best stay for us in all of Morocco! This place is just a short walk to the central square. While in Tangier, my friend picked up a 24hr bug. The host went out... More

This hotel is located in the old British Post Office and is very centrally situated. The hotel is comfortable and well maintained but what sets it apart from many of its peers is the extremely helpful manager. Many hotels provide you with information on the town they are situated in, rare are those who equip you with plans and maps... More

This hotel is located just outside the walls of the Medina, close to two of the gates into this very interesting part of the old city. From the rooftop terrace of the hotel you can see over part of the Medina as well as get a good perspective of street life and the surrounding town. There is also a fenced... More

The hotel building here is itself of interest. It was originally the "English Telegraph Office" and apparently the first telegraph office in North Africa. It retains a fine central staircase of beautiful polished wood; and the rooms are of a good size and comfortable. A big plus was the availability of eggs at breakfast in the pleasant courtyard to break... More
