Hi and thank's for your review ,sorry you don't like it but i think you make a mistake when you book in riad Arous Chamel it was better for you to choose a new hotel along the beach but the price is different Everywhere we say that the riad is inside the old medina so you must walk 250 meters,... ... "hidden" being the operative word as this lovely riad is terribly signed, but we were fortunate to have a taxi driver who knew exactly where it was and walked us to it. Apart from the near invisible signage, the hotel is lovely: exactly how you´d expect a Moroccan riad tucked away in a medina to look. Our host was... More

A real treasure! Beautiful Riad in the Medina, delightful, charming, like something out of "Casablanca" or "Lawrence of Arabia". The owner met me where the cab let me off and (thankfully) lead me through the maze to the riad. Nice roof top terrace with a view to the sea, breakfast is served here good place to kick back after exploring... More

The taxi dropped us off at the edge of the medina, from there a helpful local (cost 10 dhirham!) guided us through the charming walkways if the medina. The stay was good and the were no noise issues with nearby mosques! However my friends iphone may have been left in the room if the phone is there please email me... More

A really nice riad in the middle of the medina. A bit tricky to find at first - we basically just stumbled upon it by chance - but easy enough to get to once you've got used to it. We stayed here for two nights in November and it was a lovely way to start our trip in Morocco. Our... More

Riad Arous Chamel, was a great option in our short stay in Tangier; although not easy to find - we had to recur to one of the spontaneous city guides, other way, today, we'd still lost on those labyrinthine streets - the experience was amazing. The Riad has a beautiful and cozy decoration, from the bedrooms to the common areas,... More

Really Nice Riad. They have nice clean rooms and are child friendly. For our 1 year old they even had a bike. So he could bike in the square of the Riad. Breakfast is simple. Rooftop has a great view of the harbor. You're between 5 mosqs so you can hear all the prairs...really loud ;-) A lot of restaurants... More

Really enjoyed my stay at this Riad, the building is beautiful fir the inside. Very difficult to find and I recommend you ring them when you arrive to meet you when you exit the Ferry terminal. Took me over an hour to find the place. Rasheed is very helpful and friendly. Helped me find a beer when I needed one.... More

Riad Arouz Chamel is the first place that made me see what Moroccan architecture is. They have beautiful rooms and a very nice rooftop. Breakfast was also superb! They have multi-lingual staff and a very hands on owner who happened to be there for a night shift when we arrived. He made way for one staff who cannot make it... More

This dar is nicely in the centre of the medina, and once you know your way around a little it is very conveniently placed to drop off shopping or pop in to freshen up. Very prettily done up by its french owner, leaving you wondering if other houses in the seemingly run-down medina also hide such decorated courtyards. Our pretty... More
