Right in the middle of the medina, where you can walk the streets and experience authentic Morrocan culture. You can listen to the prayer calling from the nearby mosques. You can have a delicious breakfast on the terraces roof. Had a lovely stay.

The Riad Arous Chamel was a wonderful experience. As this was our first trip to Morocco, the people at the Riad were extremely kind to set up transport from the Airport to the Medina and then get us someone to guide us through the little streets until we found ourselves in the Riad. Since there were few guests staying during... More

Love this quaint place. Beautiful exotic Moroccan decor just made it so inviting and pleasing to enter. Very clean. Breakfast is cooked by the owner's wife, which tastes great. Best thing is, breakfast is on the rooftop, overlooking the medina. Unforgettable memories staying here, although getting here can be a little tough - you may need to tip locals to... More

Yes- this is a hard place to find and you do need to be met outside the Medina ( we didn't arrange this and got very lost!) but it's well worth seeking out for an authentic Riad experience. Do not book in if you need a Western hotel experience. The breakfast on the roof terrace is authentic, the service friendly... More

This hotel is located right in the Tangier medina and will give you an authentic Riad experience. Our room was comfortable and had a private bathroom (which was actually a set of stairs outside our room, but good enough for us). The hotel offered a great terrace to relax and enjoy the view, where a traditional breakfast was served (very... More

I stayed at this Riad for a couple of nights during my stay in Tangiers, I am so glad I came here. I was at the Continental before but wasn't feeling it so I went hunting for a good authentic hotel in town until I found this Riad in the middle of the Casbah (on Rue Abdessadak which is easily... This riad is well locales in the Medina. Easy to get to other places in the Medina and in town. We were a bit disappointed by the condition of our room but the wonderful made an effort to make our stay comfortable. The decoration is beautiful and with good taste. Not all rooms have conditioning. They help us in getting... More

We really enjoyed our stay here. We stayed in a beautiful grey room at the ground floor (which was a little noisy when people were coming and going, but the hotel wasn't fully booked when we stayed here, so it wasn't the biggest problem). We stayed for a couple of nights, and the breakfast was really nice. The place was... More

BE CAREFUL WHEN YOU BOOK AT THIS HOTEL! The amount you pay for your room will depend on whether your room will include a PRIVATE BATHROOM IN YOUR OR AIR CONDITIONING (they will NOT INDICATE that when you are booking). We asked for a fan, and they stated they wouldn't provide one. We will not be returning to this hotel.... More

HI Yes it's right that the price is different depending on standing of each room For the choice of the place to book in tangier lot of people like the old city and it's a shame to say " be carrefull it' s populateed " the old city of tangier is populated but very secure More

Good Guesthouse with authentic style. Find out what kind of room. Some are with separate toilet etc. Right in the middle of the old centre(Medina) no reach for taxi's. Douches, toilet and airco OK! Breakfast OK. Drink a beer ( ST. Michel)on the top terrace. Be careful with ordering taxi's to Airport (150 Derham of 13,50 Euro, not more). Pleasant... More
