The best place in old Medina, the staff is friendly, the owner is fantastic: helpfull, clever and cultivated, he can give you very interesting book about the recent history of Tanger. The fireplace is romantic, the terrace is unforgettable.

We spent one night here, and with the assistance of a portable heater our accomodation was fair. It is a classic riad hotel, which means it is in a middle of the Tangier medina and no central heating. I would give this an average mark, in our opinion their price is more expensive than the provided service.

This was a lovely hotel with very helpful and accommodating staff. Although the medina can seem somewhat overwhelming, Riad Arous Chamel provides a comfortable and relaxing retreat. We stayed 2 nights, and cannot complain at all: we were picked up from the airport with no charge, and the staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast huge & lovely... The Riad itself is perhaps on the simple side, but really it depends on what you expect, it was very clean and welcoming too!

This was a lovely little riad with a comfortable bed and hot shower. For our room the bathroom was separate to the bedroom but was only for our use.
