My daughter and I have just spent 2 nights in the Balima and we could not have wished for a nicer hotel. Our room was situated on 3rd floor opposite the parliament. It was clean and comfortable with excellent friendly staff. I would highly recommend it as a central place to stay in Rabat.

The hotel has a perfect location. The room was very clean, everybody was helpfull and friendly. I have been in a lot of hotels. Some 5 star some not. It makes travelling worth the trouble to have different experiences. There were clean, white towels, a piece of soap, hot water, and a good bed. What reason would I have to... More

Being in such a central location - 5 minutes walk from Rabat Ville station, right on one of the main avenues of the city - definitely gives this hotel an advantage.Unfortunately, I did not find other reasons that could make me return. Maybe they put me in one of the lesser rooms, but my room was small, dated (including tv... More

While the location was very good - the negative experiences with this hotel are enough to prompt me to be firm in my 'poor' review of this establishment. I traveled with a group of coworkers here - the booking being made by an experienced travel agency with strong ties in the area - so I was really expecting a nice... More

Another late review. The Hotel Balima was our temporary home while visiting Rabat, the Moroccan capitol city. It is located just opposite the Parliament Building and the train station is just a stone throw away. The rooms are well appointed: the floor is fully carpeted with a tasteful interior decor. The size of the room is just big enough for... More

We line in Tanger and traveled to Rabat to visit friends. We had a truly enjoyable stay at this old grand hotel. The location is great with very good service, clean and attractive! The sidewalk cafe out front is a charm as it is set back from the street, making for a tranquil experience. We would definitely stay here again.... More

This hotel apparently used to be one of the best in Rabat, but to be honest it has seen better days. It is a very convenient location (five minutes from the train station, and right in the centre). However, I thought that it was overpriced for the quality of the room, which was quite spacious but not that clean, especially... More

I stayed a few nights in Balima and i must say...with great pleasure. i was at the fifth floor had a little balcony and great view over the park and parlementary building. The hotel was not situated directly on the road so it was ratheer quiet for a cityhotel. The room was good , big enough, clean and comfortable bed.... More

Arrived by train, few minutes walk by train. Hotel is set back from the main avenue so did not notice street noise. Our rooms were on 2nd floor, facing the Parliament building. Large rooms but tired, hence good value. Great location for sightseeing, restaurants and shop nearby to buy wine and beer

The location of this hotel is excellent. 5 minx from the main train station, directly opposite the parliament building, and within easy walking distance of all attractions and points of interest in Rabat. Reception on arrival was efficient, but things went downhill from there. The room had a good view over the street to the parliament building, but just looked... More
