This hotel is in the process of being refurbished but this did not impact on us particularly and we enjoyed our stay! The location is good, the rooms were small but otherwise totally acceptable, the staff were pretty good, internet was free, the bar was quite nice and the breakfast was good. We would recommend the hotel as a 3... more

This hotel's staff and management performance isunfortunately not like any other Mercure Hotel we have staid in. Their disregard tfor a guests wellbeing and blatant extortion of money at check-out is a great disappointment and not a credit to the brand. My experience is that at this hotel the hotel manager and his front desk staff are not to be... more

Good hotel, clean, modern. The rooms are a bit on the small side but for a short stay it is OK. The price is reasonable for being in a capital. Unfortunately they have no parking, the cars have to park on the street although there are usually places available and there is a 24h guard. more

Rabat was my first stop in Morocco, and the Mercure provided a quiet, comfortable retreat. I knew it would be a little out of the center, but I found that the scale of the Lonely Planet map was misleading, and although I walked pretty much everywhere, I would have done better to take a petit taxi. Try to get the... more

Given the price, I wasn't expecting too much but was very pleasantly surprised by this hotel. Yes, it is undergoing some renovation but the interruption was minimal. I stayed a total of three nights on two separate occasions and was very pleased with my room both times. They have been recently renovated and, while not huge, are tasteful, efficient and... more

I was a bit apprehensive before I arrived at the Mercure Hotel, Rabat, based on the reviews I'd read on Tripadvisor. However I'm delighted to report that this hotel in 2008 is a lovely place to stay. We stayed 5 nights there and the rooms were lovely, very clean & kept that way with daily cleaning & towels replaced. The... more

Unfortunately the majority of the reviews for this hotel are quite old and written before the renovation. The experience that I and my friends and family had at the Sheherazade was excellent. The hotel has been recently renovated. Rooms are spacious, well decorated, beds are comfortable, en-suite bathrooms are spotless, and flat screen tvs in each room The breakfast buffet... more

Recently renovated, the rooms were clean and inviting. The bathrooms were modern and to a high standard. Buffet breakfast was a bit monotanous afer a while but the bread and croissants were always nice. The standard of food at dinner was good with a daily special available on most nights. Unfortunately there is no swimming pool. The hotel is conveniently... more

This Hotel is unlike any Accor Hotel I have stayed at. The foyer and the appearnce of the Hotel from outside makes you think it is a modern Hotel. This is not the case! Firstly the lift was out of service and then when we opened the door to our room I nearly died. Nothing looked clean - the sheets... more

Mercure in Rabat has a nice hotel, it's pretty cheap compared to the other Accor hotel in Rabat downtown (Sofitel, better, but much more expensive) and is much better located than Ibis, that is on the suburb of Rabat-Agdal. Rooms are pretty ok, although the bathroom "seemed" unifinished as you could see the water pipes going at floor level, but... more
