My parents and I were awed by the beauty of the place which was complemented by the friendly service of the staff by the name of Seyham (Hope I spelled her name correctly) from the time we arrived to our departure. She was not only welcoming but helpful too as she managed our heavy suitcases from the carpark all the... More

We visited Rabat for a wedding at the end of April and because of the great experience we had in Riad Dar El Karima it deserves a good review here, so more people can enjoy the beautiful scenery of this Riad and the hospitality of the owner, his father and the rest of the staff. Although a bit hard to... More

Yes, it was hard to find and yes the staff don't speak English but come one, you came all the way to Africa! Be adventurous and enjoy the thrill of the unknown! The owner of the riyad does speak English and is amazingly helpful. The staff is also really nice and the ryad itself is just amazing. I wrote more... More

My husband and I stayed one night at this Riad. It was late in the evening when we arrived after asking around for the location. The friendly owner treated us to tea and pastry. He spoke good English and French. Our room was big and clean but our bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. But that was ok as long as... More

Where to start. We arrived on New Year's eve in the morning and the problems started immediately. We could not communicate that we would like to simply leave our bags and check into our room later, as we didn't want to waste the day waiting for the cleaning service. This simple request could not be understood by the 2 women... More

My heading says it all. We were extremely frustrated trying to find the street they told us to park on let alone how to find the Riad. We kept phoning them to get better instructions but no one would pick up the phone. Only thanks to a traffic guide did we manage to figure out where it was. Other Riads... More

The ryad is a bit difficult to find as there is no sign outside and no name on the door bell, but once you have found it it's easy to return and location is very handy and quiet, even though you are only a couple of minutes away from the central market. The ryad is nice and clean. We stayed... More

We stayed here for two days at the end of an eight day tour. It is a stunning Riad. Clean, spacious and well situated. However the most remarkable element was the hospitality. Our hosts, Najia and Salah could not do enough for us with advice on what to see and do and when they realised that I had eaten something... More

We originally didn't plan on coming to Rabat from Marrakech, but we are so glad we did! We tried to book a place before we arrived but found that many of the nicer places were fully booked. We emailed Riad Zyo the night before and hadn't heard back so when we arrived in the medina, we assumed we were set... More

I stayed for 5 nights and it was wonderful. Excellent location. More like an oasis in the middle of chaos. And for a newbie to Moroccan architecture and cuisine, this is a great initiation and the perfect place to stay while in Rabat. The hoteliers are super helpful. Very warm and friendly. You get the feeling that they really really... More
