It was simply the most beautiful place we stayed at during our trip. So tastefully decorated and the room and bathroom were lovely. The roof terrace was a nice place to sip a cold drink after a long hot day. The guy on duty during check in was helpful and spoke English. The guy on duty the next day did... More

Attractively furnished riad and very nice room with terrace overlooking the rooftops of Rabat. However, food was truly awful - the worst I have experienced anywhere for a very long time. Dinner was microwaved chicken, potatoes and olives laughingly called a tagine. Told the waiter that food was tasteless and microwaved which he denied but I think I can recognise... More

L Alcazar is perfectly situated and deliciously decorated. Stashed in an alcove along a slightly scruffy street, lies a marvelous experience. From the moment we arrived, slightly frazzled after the drive from Tangier, til our departure to Casablanca, chauffeured by the delightful manager, our stay in Rabat was enhanced by attentive care and elegant ambiance of the hotel. The elevator was... More

If you want to stay near the city center and medina without giving up the charm of Morocco, this riad is the place to stay. Looking back, we wished we had stayed in Rabat an extra day. From Riad L'Alcazar we could walk to all the places we wanted to see in about 5-10 minutes. The location is really hard... More

Absolutely fantastic place in all aspects . Unlike other Ryads thus one is very accessible being situated on the main road so no need to walk in tiny streets to find it . It's beautifully decorated with a mix of typical Moroccan style and modern one . The owners and the whole staff are very nice and would do anything... More

We stayed for a week in February. The manager Mohammed picked us at the airport and gave a great intro into Rabat. All staff are simply excellent and the place is a beatiful calm oasis in the centre of the city, close to the beach and the main street. You feel like at home after a few days. Plenty of... More

Amazing place. A lot of charm, great beds, beautiful Ryad. City Center (Gare) reachable within a few mins walk. Essentially everything is ok but you need to be aware of one thing: The mosque is nearby and the prayer call will wake you up @5am ! So prepare the ear plugs ;) Otherwise, excellent stay ofr both business and leisure... More

When we arrived during the afternoon, the first impression in front of the riad weren't positive at all. We also thought about cancelling the reservation, and went inside only for this matter. But once you have one step inside, you're completely surprised by a wonderful piece of perfection. The riad is amazing in all its aspects, very beautiful architecture and... More

We had an excellent time here in Rabat and this Riad was part of our peculiar journey. We have to say that it was really difficult to find it (you won't find the adress "4 Impasse Benabdallah" in your GPS, you should look for Av. Laalou instead) but it was in a very good location. Plus, great panoramic views from... More

When we arrived at 4 o'clock in the morning, our first impressions from the area weren't very positive. However, from the moment the friendly security guard opened the doors, we realised that we had chosen a beautiful place to stay. The room was very cosy, clean and comfortable. The breakfast is freshly prepared and made according to your choice. The... More
