Without a shadow of a doubt, Riad el Maati was our favorite place to stay in the last ten years or so of traveling overseas. At first we were somewhat reluctant to combine this business trip by staying in the medina but what a relaxing oasis this place is at the end of the day. Our taxi brought us from... More

First Riad we ever stayed in and when we walked through the Medina we weren't sure where we were headed. Once the doors opened we were in heaven. The place is beautiful, decorated in such good taste and the owners Laurence and Farhid are very welcoming. They are very pleasant and friendly. The hospitality was the best we have had... More

From the minute we closed the door from the Medina it was heaven, the staff are so friendly, the rooms and whole place just beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. Spent one whole day sunbathing and reading on the roof top and kept saying out loud "this is amazing". Perfect breakfast in the morning - when we asked til what time... More

After reading the reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay here and we weren't disappointed. The Riad is so beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, the staff members were all kind and friendly. They were very accommodating. We booked the taxi to pick us up from the airport with the hotel and we had not problems getting to the... More

Our stay here was excellent. Riad El Maati was an oasis of calm in the middle of the hustle & bustle of the Medina. The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. (I'm now getting complaints from my teenage son that breakfast at home isn't up to standard). We stayed 4 nights and ate at the hotel each... More

This riad is aesthetically lovely and could be excellent. Rooms are very attractive and the welcome cookies were hands down the best in Morocco. However, the on site manager is not --far from, actually -- customer service oriented. He refused to honor the room reservations made many months earlier and insisted that we stay in a room that had stairs... More

A group of 10 friends stayed in Rabat from 28 October to 3 November. It was a wonderful trip, thanks in large part to our stay in Hotel Riad. Excellent in all aspects: the rooms, the breakfast on the terrace, the friendly staff, etc.. thank you very much¡¡

The location is good (in the medina but close to the gates) & easy to find. Rooms are very clean. I wouldn’t say the hotel is so beautiful in reality as it depicted, but it has stylish decoration & design furniture. There are several drawbacks to mention: very dim lightning, audibility, switched off heating though there are several heaters in... More

Thank you for your consideration ... for the rooms of the Patio we indicate customers to tell us if it would like that turns on the heating , because it is a centralized heat. The rooms on the first floor are equipped with electric heating. Thank you for your information. Laurence and Farhid. More

After reading the reviews, we expected a better experience than we got. It is certainly calm and authentic looking. But in our four days and three nights, we only caught a glimpse of the owners once. This was in stark contrast to the other Riads in Morooco where we felt the owners were hands-on and involved. Abdel is an employee... More
