First Impression Well our first impression of Rabat was not exactly good, run down and dirty in the old medina. The raid itself was very nicely located though, placed in the centre of the medina but away from the noisy streets and not that difficult to find. However, it does look quite hippy inside, I think trying too hard to... More

The location is very good, close to both the souks and the sights. The riad itself is nice but - in my opinion - very overcrowded with a lot of things, objects and crap that take away the genuine feeling. It is a hippie feeling to it which is ok if you like that style but it is overproced compared... More

Nice and clean place, however it didn't meet my expectations for the price I paid. We spent one night on Sunday and most of the restaurants were closed but we were not advised about this. Wi-fi went down few times during our stay, however the staff was immediately available to fix the problem. Again, it's nice but I've found other... More

This was a magical and magnificent Riad tucked away in the heart of the Medina. It seemed like it came to life from mystical fairy tale. We were very well taken care of. From the minute my friend and I entered we were treated like royalty ..and were giving yummy moroccan tea with treats. The lady at the concierge was... More

Riad el Maati is ideally situated to explore the medina. The main shopping street is a stone's throw away, and all the medina sights are easily walkable. The Riad itself is quite nice and trendy, esp the tree is the courtyard gives it a surreal feel. There is always great music playing and it is a lovely place to just... More

We reached Rabat after sunset, and some one from the resort promptly came to help us to take us inside. As soon as you turn in from the main market in towards the Riad, it is quite dark and a bit creepy. Inside the Riad is another matter though. It is beautifully done up, and has a great atmosphere. We... More

The taxi the riad had arranged was there to meet us at the airport and the driver took us directly to the door. The welcome was terrific - a tour of the riad and then our beautiful and immaculate room where tea and nibbles were served. The only downside to our room was that the hot water could have been... We are travelling around Morocco in a classic motorhome with our two young sons. When we suffered a broken window on the motorway we were forced to make an emergency stop in Rabat. We were luckily to discover riad El Maati. Farhid was amazing; he arranged safe parking for our damaged van and made us feel so welcome and well... More

We flew into Casablanca and Lawrence arranged for a taxi to pick us up and bring us to the riad. From Casablanca to Rabat was 600 MAD. The trip was pleasant enough. When we got to Rabat we turned into one of the gates for the Medina and the we stopped. The drive got out and walked way...which freaked us... More
