The French proprietress and her well trained staff are a traveler's delight. Dinner was delicious and serene. They will send someone to meet your taxi, which can't get all the way to the Riad in the old city. Worth the adventure. Rooms are simple and arranged around the interior courtyard, so the environment is intimate. But the location is perfect... More

We stayed at this riad on our first night in Morocco and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, modern and has the kindest people working here. There is a beautiful roofdeck and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!!!!!!!

My son fell in love with Riad al Maati - that’s why he brought me there. It was one of the most beautiful places I have been to. I was able to relax, enjoy the sun and didn’t feel the stress I used to know when travelling. Loved my holiday. Thank you to Fahrid and Laurance for your generosity and... More

Even though we prefer to discover new places, we came back to Riad al Maati 1 year after our trip through Morocco. Now, we are already thinking about our third trip there. Design: Riad al Maati is the perfect place for people who care for a classy authentic ambience furnished with distinct taste and without over-the-top kitsch. The rooms are... More

My wife, daughter and I all enjoyed our stay here for a couple nights last week. The beds were low to the floor, but they were extremely comfortable. The bathroom and shower were very unconventional as compared to other hotels where I stayed... The bathroom door was a slider and the separating wall was actually made of fogged glass, so... More

I stayed in Rabat for one night with two of my friends. We booked a room that could actually fit four people, it was a large room (loft like) and spacious enough for the three of us. Upon booking the room, I received a welcome email with directions to the Riad which was helpful when we arrived in Rabat. It... More

Without a shadow of a doubt, Riad el Maati was our favorite place to stay in the last ten years or so of traveling overseas. At first we were somewhat reluctant to combine this business trip by staying in the medina but what a relaxing oasis this place is at the end of the day. Our taxi brought us from... More

First Riad we ever stayed in and when we walked through the Medina we weren't sure where we were headed. Once the doors opened we were in heaven. The place is beautiful, decorated in such good taste and the owners Laurence and Farhid are very welcoming. They are very pleasant and friendly. The hospitality was the best we have had... More

From the minute we closed the door from the Medina it was heaven, the staff are so friendly, the rooms and whole place just beautiful, so peaceful and relaxing. Spent one whole day sunbathing and reading on the roof top and kept saying out loud "this is amazing". Perfect breakfast in the morning - when we asked til what time... More

After reading the reviews on trip advisor we decided to stay here and we weren't disappointed. The Riad is so beautiful and the breakfast was delicious, the staff members were all kind and friendly. They were very accommodating. We booked the taxi to pick us up from the airport with the hotel and we had not problems getting to the... More
