An immaculate, beautiful and special Riad in Rabat with caring owners and staff that took wonderful care of us. They accommodated our food allergies and arranged us another night in another Riad due to the unexpected need for us to extend our stay when they were full.

I was staying in the hotel for one night only and I just loved it. At first I had little problem to find it, but after that I enjoyed every minute of staying there. Staff was very, very hellpful. Close to everything. Breakfast was very good. Would recomend to everyone who wants to visit Rabat.

This ancient aristocratic house in the middle of the old Medina has been refurbished with a lot of good taste. I stayed there for a couple of days four years ago, and I had no doubt this time about my preferred hotel in Rabat. Everything is perfect.

Second stay in this tasteful little riad. Elegant simplicity with attention to detail. One of my groups favourite places in our 17 day tour. Brightness and lightness are something hard to come by with courtyard accommodation – El Maati has achieved that. Great location in the Medina. Excellent evening meal. Owners might not be too pleased for me to say... More

Riad El Maati was the perfect getaway and a true gem in the heart of the Rabat Medina. It might be a little difficult to find due to the lack of wall signs, as is seen with other riads especially in other cities, but navigating to the riad from one of the medina gates was fairly simple. Plus, its location... More

If it hadn't been for the inconsiderate noisy female guest on our last night! (If she ever reads this please book a cottage next time, you are too ill mannered to mix with everyone else!) This is a most charming Riad, we spent 4 nights there. The owners and staff are charming, helpful and polite. Our room was clean, the... More

Hidden behind a door in a narrow alley in the busy medina of Rabat is a haven of tranquility. Being only my 2nd night in Morocco I'm not sure of prices here but even in European terms I felt that it was fully priced.

The French proprietress and her well trained staff are a traveler's delight. Dinner was delicious and serene. They will send someone to meet your taxi, which can't get all the way to the Riad in the old city. Worth the adventure. Rooms are simple and arranged around the interior courtyard, so the environment is intimate. But the location is perfect... More

We stayed at this riad on our first night in Morocco and had a wonderful stay. The hotel was clean, modern and has the kindest people working here. There is a beautiful roofdeck and the food was delicious. I would highly recommend staying here!!!!!!!

My son fell in love with Riad al Maati - that’s why he brought me there. It was one of the most beautiful places I have been to. I was able to relax, enjoy the sun and didn’t feel the stress I used to know when travelling. Loved my holiday. Thank you to Fahrid and Laurance for your generosity and... More
