Dar Mayssane is a wonderfull place to stay with magnificent rooms, an unbeatable service and a luxury breakfast. All this combined with an extraourdinary building that is fully restored to its old glory. No signs, nor directions, good things are at their best when kept secret...

There is no sign outside Dar Mayssane just the number 13. If you have followed the directions given you will find it and once inside you will be surprised. A delightful French influenced decor and a complex layout that is a wonder, fun to explore. We had the smallest room and it was more than adequate. The staff very helpful... More

This is a lovely, comfortable, friendly riad in a good location. The decor was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the breakfasts good. The owner was also friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The only problem was the guest in the next room who smoked and all the smoke seemed to end up in our room and... More

The Riad is beautiful and comfortable and in a terrific location in the Medina and close to a gate. What makes this a truly amazing place to stay is the staff, who are kind, considerate, and accommodating. They accommodated our every need even late and unexpected requests for lunch and dinner one day when unforeseen circumstances arose. Don't miss the... More

Our room was called La Belle Endormie......had it's own large sunny deck, comfortable bed and sheets. Very clean. Wonderful deep tub to soak a tired body after a day of adventure. Lots of hot water. Quiet. Beautiful tile work and stained glass windows. Isabelle (spelling?) is an absolutely charming warm Hostess. Friendly staff. I'm not a breakfast person so it's... More

If you are a tourist and want to feel unique Moroccan vibe - stay in this Riad! Value is great comparing what you get. Staff is amazing as always ready to help or answer questions! Even their English might appear limited, their help and friendliness blows it away! Breakfast was way enough so you can start your day full of... More

We booked for one night and ended up staying for another because, to our surprise, we really enjoyed Rabat. The first room was more modern and the second one more classically Moroccan. The French manager was very professional, but the Morrocan maître d'hôtel truly gave the place its heart. The one warning I could give is that plumbing, as everywhere... More

We researched and planned an exquisite trip, staying only in beautiful places during our trip all through Morocco, but in terms of beauty this riad takes the #1 spot. Do not miss this place if you're going to Rabat you must book Mayssane. The tiling and marble work was so well preserved - this riad is exactly what I think... More

This was certainly the nicest place we stayed during our entire trip through Morocco. Spacious, comfortable and clean, the furnishings bordered on luxurious, and the laughter and kindness of the staff made us want to stay longer. If you are in Rabat do yourself a favor and stay here! We stayed in l'amante, on the 1st fl (1 flight up),... More

Our visit to Rabat - and stay at Dar Mayssane - was a combination of business and pleasure. I was attending a conference and my wife accompanied me. Finding the Riad was a bit of a challenge but we were able to get a taxi from the train station and eventually found our way using the directions provided. And we... More
