This five-room read is in the middle of the Rabat medina. It is very traditional Moroccan, but with western amenities (read: western style toilet and bath). You'll need GPS to find your way to and from the hotel, as you thread your way around the medina, but the search is worth it. The woman who operates it was able to... More

We enjoyed a relaxing few days here over Eid. It's well located a short walk from the Kasbah. We particularly liked the pink chill out room (although the TV didn't seem to work), terraces and welcoming staff. One evening we dined in the riad - my husband enjoyed a delicious chicken couscous dinner with salad and lemon tarte dessert for... More

This is our second time at this lovely small Dar in the Rabat medina. We were happy to find Fatima still working at the Dar. She greeted us with fresh orange juice and cookies, just like the last time we were there. Dar Mayssane is a tranquil place, with its handsome rooms which boasts intricate tile work and carved wood... More

A really lovely riad with amazing service – they even helped me to get a beautiful bouquet of roses and to bake a very yummy cake as a surprise for my girlfriend’s birthday. Highly recommended! Bonus tip: When you exit the riad, just cross the alley 5 meter to your right you will find a great (but quite hidden) restaurant.

Dar Mayssane is a wonderfull place to stay with magnificent rooms, an unbeatable service and a luxury breakfast. All this combined with an extraourdinary building that is fully restored to its old glory. No signs, nor directions, good things are at their best when kept secret...

There is no sign outside Dar Mayssane just the number 13. If you have followed the directions given you will find it and once inside you will be surprised. A delightful French influenced decor and a complex layout that is a wonder, fun to explore. We had the smallest room and it was more than adequate. The staff very helpful... More

This is a lovely, comfortable, friendly riad in a good location. The decor was lovely, the bed was comfortable and the breakfasts good. The owner was also friendly and gave us a great recommendation for dinner. The only problem was the guest in the next room who smoked and all the smoke seemed to end up in our room and... More

The Riad is beautiful and comfortable and in a terrific location in the Medina and close to a gate. What makes this a truly amazing place to stay is the staff, who are kind, considerate, and accommodating. They accommodated our every need even late and unexpected requests for lunch and dinner one day when unforeseen circumstances arose. Don't miss the... More

Our room was called La Belle Endormie......had it's own large sunny deck, comfortable bed and sheets. Very clean. Wonderful deep tub to soak a tired body after a day of adventure. Lots of hot water. Quiet. Beautiful tile work and stained glass windows. Isabelle (spelling?) is an absolutely charming warm Hostess. Friendly staff. I'm not a breakfast person so it's... More

If you are a tourist and want to feel unique Moroccan vibe - stay in this Riad! Value is great comparing what you get. Staff is amazing as always ready to help or answer questions! Even their English might appear limited, their help and friendliness blows it away! Breakfast was way enough so you can start your day full of... More
