We arrived here having accidentally made a reservation for Alia's sister Riad "Dar Aida" 5 months too late (booked for September and arrived in April). Staff were very accommodating, and gave us a room at Alia for a discounted price (closer to Aida's prices). The riad itself is a bit dated and could do with a spruce up (our shower... More

Initially a bit difficult to find, but once there it's a great location to walk to most of the sights. Riad is architecturally beautiful with much fine detailing--tike work, wood carving, and painted doors. Good linens. Room was small and bathroom even smaller, but comfortable. Shower curtain was mildewed and grout in shower needed cleaning. WiFi not available in room.... More

This is a fairly traditional Riad conveniently located near the periphery of the Medina. The rooms were quite comfortable and quiet, and certainly worth the modest cost. Bathrooms were adequate as was the air-conditioning. Wifi was available in the common area only, but this was not a major inconvenience. What distinguishes this Riad is the friendliness and helpfulness of the... More

We stayed at this Riad on our last night in Morocco after spending 6 nights at other Riads all in Medina's. Our driver was lost and rang the riad on several occasions, but no one answered the phone and we had to wait until he could get someone to help with directions. This was the ONLY place that didn't offer... More

Spent 4 nights here. Was welcomed by nice staff. Room was clean. Bed comfy with good quality sheets. Bathroom bit small but water runs hot. Great freshly made breakfast . No or VERY POOR WIFI in room and tv chanels were crap. But so close to everything. Would definitely recommend this place.

Excellent location! Easy access by foot with carry-on luggage from secure parking at Kasbah of the Udayas to the Dar. After landing in Casablanca we rented a car and headed for Rabat. This was our first night stay in Marocco! Kind and helpful staff greeted us with their traditional mint tea! We also had our first supper at the Riad... More

The Dar Alia was the first Riad for 2 nights we stayed in during our 14 day tour around Morocco. What a great start! Naima is an excellent host! She made us really feel welcome. First we were upgraded to the "Grande Suite", which was a pleasant surprise. Dinner was typical Morrocan, which we appreciated, also breakfeast was good. The... More

The Riad is placed near the Kasbah, with a park nearby (the one in front of the Kasbah). It is easy to reach also with heavy luggages. The place is nice and the personnel is very very but very kind! We also have the possibility to have the dinner here and it was excellent. The rooms are clean and comfortable... More

We booked this riad through booking.com and on the reservation, it has the name of the rooms. When we arrived, the owner told us that the rooms we had booked were single rooms (although it specifically stated double rooms for 2people on our booking confirmation) so she changed our rooms, except 1 room. Not really a good start. I suspect... More

We stayed 3 nights in Dar Alia. We were lucky to be upgraded to "Grande Suite Rbatia Double Room" which I strongly recommend despite the bigger price. The riad is really an explosion of colours, decorations , artifacts things that make it a very pleasant place to stay. Staff is kind and helpful. The only problem is to actually find the... More
