We stayed here one night while on a tour of Morocco. The riad is located in the Old Medina and we thought we would never find our way out of the maze of narrow streets. But that was not a problem as we found out while walking around the neighborhood. The courtyard atrium is roofed with glass and a most... More

The riad itself is beautiful and well located on the edge of the medina. The staff was nice and helpful. We also had a very delightful meal with one of the best mojitos I have ever had. The room, however, was a bit awkward. There was a sitting room when first entered, but to reach the bed/bathroom you had to... More

Riad Kalaa is stunning, the decor is superb and takes you away to another place. The rooms were small but very well appointed with high vaulted ceilings and a large bed. The breakfast was tasty and the riad has an onsite bar (which is very HARD to find in Morocco). The Rabat medina is much smaller and cleaner than Marrakech... More

We stayed here one night, our first night in Morocco, and wished we could have stayed longer. The room was lovely and so peaceful. There is an open courtyard where we had an amazing breakfast and a beautiful upstairs terrace which, unfortunately, we didn't find until shortly before we left. There is nothing I would change about this place!

To sum it all up: A fantastic place to stay whilst in Rabat with warm welcoming staff and a great atmosphere! Airport transfer: We were immediately greeted at the arrivals by a member of the hotel staff who escorted us to the hotel which was a short 15 minute journey to the medina walls where we had our first taste... We (3 couples in our early sixties) arrived late and were taken to our rooms, where we found a few dishes of complementary fruit and nuts. The rooms were spacious and sported beautiful decor - very tastefully renovated with an eye for detail. The beds were extremely comfortable with beautiful bed linen, the bathroom was big and pretty, we were... More

Located in the old medina, the Riad Kalaa was great. The hotel recommended a small restaurant around the corner and it was the best tagine on the trip! Dijarnet was the name of the restaurant, I have a separate review for that. Caution that the market is very crowded with locals and if you are looking for trinkets or quality... More

After traveling for more than 24 hours to get to Morocco, do a little sightseeing in Casablanca and heading to Rabat, we were more than pleased with this beautiful place. Our room was gorgeous and very comfortable. Since we were so exhausted, we opted to dine-in at the Riad and are very glad we did. What a charming set up... More

While we would have never found this plac e without our guide, this riad is wonderful. We were greeted and given tea while the staff finished getting our room ready. The room was on the second floor and yes, the stairs are narrow and tricky but it's am old building. The room was simple and small but that's what we... More

I only spent one night here but was very impressed. The riad is in the Medina and its beauty came as a surprise after the trek through narrow featureless streets. It was my first night in Morocco and I was not prepared for the lovely interior. It is a classic riad but has been handsomely renovated with a slightly modern... More
