When we arrived at Meknes in late evening by one of the main doors which is in a walking distance to the Riad, the hotel staff came pick us up and helped with the bag and stuffs. It was raining and cold in Meknes during our stay and the room was extra cold but the provided portable heater warmed us... More

The room we got was a nice spacious beautiful one, which was a very welcome respite after some days in a bad one in Fes. This place is amazing! A big plus are the wonderful people who worked there and were very helpful and generous. Only problem would be that wifi doesnt reach the rooms.

The Riad itself is incredible! Interesting rooms, amazing architecture, almost bizarre! It is very cold in winter. We had to ask for extra heating in my our room. The staff are lovely and could not be more helpful or kind. The breakfast was disappointing, orange juice out of a box, sickly sweet, such a shame when Morocco has the best... More

Beautiful architecture, comfortable beds, big luminous rooms (hard to find inside of the medina), hot showers and friendly staff. Good deal for the price. Make sure to ask for a front door key. Staff is usually busy and the front desk empty, which can be inconvenient if youre trying to get in and theres no one to open the door... More

This was the best stay on our trip. Staff is nice, although they don't really speak english. Our room (superior double room) was just perfect, very big and clean. The toilet was very nicely decorated and clean. The breakfast was superb, lots of great and tasty food to start your day, along with mint tea or coffe. We booked it... More

The positives: the Riad was beautiful, the location within Meknes perfect to discover the souk, the room was beautifully decorated, clean and quiet. Enjoyed the food at dinner more than the basic breakfast. The negatives: the room did not lock from the outside (something which should have been mentioned upon our check-in), and the service was not great. Upon check-out... More

The riad is located near the most important door of thr city. Is very simple find it. The building is very charming with big rooms. All the rooms have the private bathroom. The breakfast is very good with typical maroccan foods. The staff doesn't speak English, just Arabic and French.

Very nice hotel. Rooms are big and comfortable, not so bad bathrooms and easy to find in the medina. Breakfasts are ok but the crew is a bit lazy or they have problems with serving the meals as you have to wait a long for it. Dinners at the riad are quite expensive and in my opinion not worth. For... More

It has been hard to comment on all the Dar's and Riad's we have been in Morocco, if you choose reasonably well they are all very interesting and overall very beautiful and relaxing mini-worlds. d'Or was no exception in this way, the building is amazing, walking around is great, with small rooms to relax, a very nice yard where breakfast...
