Ryad Bahia is a gem, embodying true Moroccan hospitality and reflecting Moroccan decorative arts and history. The ryad has been in the family for 3 generations and the sumptuous decorations, copious plants & family photos reflect this. The family still lives in the house, very conveniently located near the museum on the main square, and they graciously make you feel... More

This is a very loud place. It is right next to the loud speakers for the call to prayer! There is no shower hose and no soap. The facility is gorgeous and the signage to find it from Meknes' main square is very good. Should be a "5" but really without a bit of care from the owners it is... More

We spent 3 nights in early October at this lovely Ryad tucked inside the medina. Genuine warm hospitality from the owners and a lovely quiet room on one of the roof terraces. Breakfasts (included), were cooked fresh, with large servings. Just the thing to start the day. If you want to dine in at night, let them know by lunchtime... More

This riad is ideally located just one block into the medina, close to the square and the museum of Meknes. Though my room overlooked a narrow path/ street in the medina and was right opposite a mosque, it was not noisy after 11 pm. Everything seems to quiet down and I had a good sleep. I had a large room with... More

We stayed here in April. It is a charming and quaint Riad in the old town. Staff helpful and friendly. We ate dinner at the Riad as we arrived late and we were tired after a long trip and the food was plentiful and tasty and very Moroccan. The owner/manager arranged a lovely private guide for us for a tour... More

e stayed here for a few nights on a two week trip to Morrocco. There was a bit of a mix up with our reservation and the dates on which we were supposed to be staying. I don't think the mix up was really anybodies fault but the Riad manager dealt with it in a very poor manner and made... More

We were very disappointed with Ryad Bahia. Whilst the living and open areas were lovely , the bedroom was small and the balcony near the resturant. This meant that at night the room was noisy. My great disappointment was the threadbare and very poor quality sheets and towels. This was our most expensive accommodation in Morocco, we had booked the... More

This riad was our introduction to the riad experience in Morocco and we were amazed. Walking into the medina of a city you have no idea what is hidden behind the walls. We were astonished when the door was hopen and we stepped into this place. It is stunning. The owners and staff are gracious and welcoming. The food was... More

This is my second stay at Riad Bahia, and in my opinion, represents perfectly the best moroccan hospitality. Bouchra (the owner) has a special touch, loves her country, and is a source of information about Meknes and Morocco. The riad is centrally located, in the heart of the medina. The food is also very tasty. I hope to be lucky... More

This is a charming place, a wonderful building with lots to find around corners and stairs cases, a lovely social and eating area and an enchanting roof terrace. Gently unpolished and full of character - truly lovely hosts, very friendly and welcoming, not intrusive.
