this hotel drove me crazy basically from rock hard beds to disgusting bathrooms we had to move rooms 4 times. the lights would constantly turn off in the hallway leaving you in the dark stumbling for the switch. the. manager was helpful is trying to get us a suitable room but otherwise depending on your room can and will be... The rooms are OK and so is the service. The hotel is adjacent to a railway line and the street on the other side is noisy, too. However, we slept reasonably well and the breakfast was adequate. The main issue for me was that the hotel is located in the new town, well away from anything of interest to tourists.... More

The room was good - clean and spacious enough for us. The staff there were nice and helpful and breakfast was all right (continental as pretty much everywhere else). All in all a good place to stay for a night or two.

Very briefly: on January 4th I arrived with my girlfriend at the front desk of this hotel asking the price for one night. The person at the desk told us a room price which was slightly higher in comparison to booking.com price, but still a right price. When we were filling the registration form, the receptionist suddenly told us that... More

We only stayed here for one night whilst on a two week tour around Morocco, we were in a group of 13, our room was a twin, the hotel was in a good location, it was quiet, clean, the bathroom was a good size and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast was minimal but enough.

Let me first start off with the pro's of Hotel Akouas: + The rooms provide pretty ok what you usually require: a place to sleep (although hard beds, more about that later), proper bathroom, spacious room. - As mentioned in the title, there's a nightclub located in the lobby. OK to me if that's your thing, but we found out... More

On a rainy December night Akouas was a welcome and warm retreat. Rooms large with great heating, basic, but large bathrooms and nice views over the city.nbeds quite comfortable ,extra blankets provided. The. Sin attraction is the downstairs bar, seemed to be full of locals, and very smoky. Had a great dinner there, delicious food and a nice selection of... More

The hotel is a little expensive compared with the rest of morroco but considering that Meknes is not expecting avalanches of tourists is the best choice we found. It is within a 20mins walk from the madina's place and the famous Bab amansour that doubtlessly worths it. Good places for having dinner near the hotel where tourists are barely found.... More
