Lovely hotel with beautiful views across the valley to the medina. Our room was large and well appointed, with a big private balcony to relax and enjoy the view by. It was very clean, and decorated in Moroccan style. The breakfast that was included was a very good buffet, in the dining room that again had lovely views. There was... More

Hotel Transatlantique looks onto the old medina of Meknes. I nice piece of quiet. Hotel has a nice Moroccan design look and feel. Nice lobby. Wi-fi. My room was stylish and included a terrace looking toward the old medina. Garden and pool area are decent. 20-minute walk to the old medina...and Pizza Hut.

Oldish hotel, which can do with some repairs. It is clean place, nice lobby and superb garden which is great place to spend early morning or afternoon. In the evening terrace is busy owing to the remoteness of hotel from the city centre. No city information is available at reception. Food, typical for moroccan hotels, breakfast same as in others,... A horde of small flies and mosquitos, air conditioning not working, rock hard bed, tired furniture and fittings, this hotel is badly in need of refurbishing. Breakfast was sparse and groups of tourists fought over what was there. Superficially the hotel has some faded charm, and the foyer is relatively impressive.

We arrived there after a very long and tiring journey from Marrakech. The hotel is very stylish (Moroccan style) and without any doubt with character, but the hotel condition is poor, it really needs good renovation (peeling walls and railing, broken tiles, running faucets). Our room was quite big with a hall and a spacious bedroom, high ceilings give a... More

First impressions are good with a long impressive driveway leading you into a large, grandly decorated foyer. The room was a good size with a small balcony overlooking the cemetery next door. It was clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The free wifi access was poor but the staff were helpful and friendly. It was a little bit... More

Stayed 1 night during an organised tour of Morocco. The hotel looks good from the outside but the rooms and pool let it down. The hotel is in a good location with nice views over Meknes. The hotel was built in the 1920s and although retains much of its original character, appears to have had little maintenance in recent years.... More

Apparently the oldest hotel in Meknes and the only one with a 4 stars rating. View from the hotel over Meknes is nice and Service is ok. We had 2 connected rooms in the "New Building", large, clean and sunny. As the hotel was half empty, we did not suffer from any noice nuisance. 2 old style pools not very... More

The antithesis of its namesake in Casablanca; everything worked well, rooms were comfortable, excellent restaurant with a distant view of the medina, nice swimming pool. A very comfortable hotel. The only drawback was slow Internet connection.

I'm not sure on what basis it's a four star hotel!!!???, the hotel building is very old and not well maintained; having two pools with no kids area; laundry service was not available when I was there; breakfast is very bad and very expensive; there was no currency exchange service; we were big group made the booking based on a...
