The Transatlantique is set in beautiful grounds overlooking the old city. Unfortunately the "Transatlantique" is now in a very run down state. The bathroom fixtures were falling apart, there were cigarette burns on the bed blanket, the paint was peeling from the window frames.... everything in the room screamed: fix me or clean me ! This hotel was terrible. It stank of cat's urine, had a noisy nightclub out the back which kept us awake all night, overcharged for laundry and couldn't be bothered calling us a cab. The restaurant was awful too. Stay anywhere else in Meknes, just don't stay here! More
