Fantastic budget hotel offering you all that you could need. 100dh pp for a double with shared bathroom. Everything very clean, always hot water, wifi worked in our room, staff very helpful. Yes the entrance and halls are dark, who cares! You don't stay in them. Our room had a huge window looking into a courtyard with orange trees...beautiful. BYO... More

The entrance is tucked away off the street and doesn't look inviting. But put that aside and inside you'll find a simple, clean hostel/hotel for a reasonable price - 200dh double/night. 2 toilets, 1 shower per floor but they were clean and tidy. BYO toilet paper and bath towel. The room was decent with a sink, desk and two beds... More

Hotel Maroc is very close to the Medina and is surrounded by many cafe's, being only a 6 Dh cab ride from the train station (meter!). Rooms are very simple, with shared toilets and showers for the whole floor. We never had a problem and they were reasonably clean. Staff are unmemorable, no interactions beyond business. Its not that cheap... More

Sparkling clean, really, the rooms and the bathrooms were super clean. However one toilette and one shower for the whole floor not a lot. When first entering the Hotel it doesn't seem inviting, quite the opposite the, the entrance area is very dark and gloomy and the staff is really unfriendly. But it really is super clean, can't stress that... More

This hotel is in the lovely old part of town full of history and character. A short walk to the sights in the medina and surrounding square. Close to good cheap cafes and bakeries. Basic rooms, nice courtyard with orange trees, relaxing rooftop terrace. Traditional style lounge area, spotlessly clean bathrooms and floors. The staff speak very limited English, except... More

I stayed here for 3 nights. I arrived by train from Marrakesh at 10pm without a booking. I was worried that the reception would be closed but it is open until 1 am. I got the last available room which was a double but I was changed over to a single first thing in the morning. A single was 100... More

For 100 DH for a room without a bathroom, you couldn't ask for more. The sheets in the bed do smell a little funky, and they chard 4 DH if you want toilet paper. Only stayed here for one night, so not sure how the showers would've been, but they do keep the bathrooms clean, and it is located right... More

Old and quite friendly hotel in the very Center of the main street. Good location, Maybe 10 minutes in the medina or the big square to the gate Bab Mansour. We had a tiny cozy and clean room with sink and the room overlooking the atrium with orange trees. Toilets and showers with hot water is on the floor -... More

we knew we would only be in meknes for one night , just in order to break our journey to the desert and we wanted to go cheap.unfortunately ,all the cheap hotels described in our guide book sounded pretty grim .... the hotel maroc seemed to be the best of the lot so we decided to give it a try.... About 20 Euro for a doubleroom is okay. Just one shower/bathroom in the first floor though and rooms are pretty chilly and basic but clean. Nice breakfast available on the hotel roof for little extra money.
