The riad is very beautiful and well taken care of, in a location easy to find based on the little map one gets with the email. The room we had (red) is spacious, tastefully decorated and clean - with a nice bathroom. The only small detail I did not like were the shabby towels. Clean - but looking like their... More

Enjoyed a one night stay at this charming riad in the red room. Amina was helpful and showed us around the medina and made a helpful recommendation on where to have dinner. It was a nice stay and felt it was worthwhile to spend the night in Meknes.

Arriving after dark at the heavy wooden door of Riad El Ma in a narrow lane in the Meknes medina, we weren’t entirely certain what lay beyond. But from the first warm welcome, we knew that this was the perfect place to be in Meknes. We had the red room on the first floor - very spacious for two with... More

We travelled to Meknes for personal reasons and endured a very difficult time, but big and little Amina took care of us like family. They cared for our every need including making us soup when we were sick, taking care of our likes/dislikes for meals, and most of all treating us with such kindness and care just like family. Our... Wonderful place to stay and really good value. Food is exceptional and service could not be better. The plunge pool on the terrace is fab with loungers to relax on. El Mar is in the middle of the Medina but is like an oasis as you go through the door. Quiet, relaxed, safe, everything you could wish for.

Riad el Ma is a sublime riad in the heart of the medina and run by two very nice and hospitable women. They have painstakingly renovated the historic mansion. Beside the serene courtyard patio, there are two nice salons and a big rooftop terrace with a small pool and a view of the mosque's minaret. During my stay in September,... More

I believe my taxi driver was trying to help me by putting me closer to Riad El Ma than indicated on the map sent to me from the Riad. I got so lost, I had just traveled from the US and then by train from Rabat. Bags in tow, I walked into the middle of the street to the police... More

Riad El Ma, and it's very friendly, helpful staff, especially the two Amina's, was a true "oasis" for us. We had had a bad experience in Tangier, and Riad El Ma was a soothing, tranquil, and beautiful place to recuperate and reenergize. Amina2 took time out of her day to give us a quick personal tour of the medina, to... More

An exquisite Riad, that felt like a mini palace. Beautifully done planting in the courtyard. A lovely terrace with a plunge pool. Great location in the middle of the Medina. (This means no booze!) We stayed in the Red room which was lovely and with beautiful decoration. We ate at the Riad on the first night and had exceptionally good... More

Had a very enjoyable stay here with my partner (both males) . Amina who we interacted with mostly, spoke proficient english and was able to help us with our questions about Meknes and travel details. The Riad is beautiful and has a great energy. By Moroccan medina standards it is easy to find. The garden, patio and terrace are all... More
