Teenagers in our group loved climbing through the house and admiring the various levels. Great rooms in traditional styles. We rented 5 of the available rooms and I would book there again. The ladies who managed the place were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good.

Good location and not bad accommodation (the Berber room was a little like a jail cell though...), breakfast was ok, but we had a most unpleasant end to our stay involving a real struggle to arrange a taxi, waiting 1.5 hours longer than agreed, having one of the owners and her daughters try to hitch a free and unsafe ride... Great riad, very beautiful and affordable. Very friendly staff too. Great location too. Though they advertise as parking included, it is actually in a public pay and park where they have an arrangement with the caretaker, who will keep a place for you for a fee. He charges 20 MAD per shift (12 hours each worker). Both shift workers were... More

We enjoyed our brief side trip to Meknes from Fes and found the riad a perfect base for meandering round the souks and sites of the town. The owners were friendly and helpful women and our twin 'berbere' room was colourful, cosy and comfortable. The breakfast was nice and the courtyard pleasant - albeit chilly in December with no heating.... More

We stayed in the room that backed onto the terrace, which gave us great access to the much needed sun. We enjoyed our breakfasts and the French owner who also had good english was happy to give recommendations on good local restaurants.

Upon our arrival, we waited about 10 minutes at the front door despite ringing the loud bell, knocking and calling. The host of the riad wasn't there the whole time - we were there one night - and instead we had to rely on fellow travelers to help us figure out what we were supposed to do. The location and... We had two nights in Meknes and I really can't say we were made to feel welcome. We were only introduced to 1 person who was working there and had no idea who the other people were. There were building works going on and people kept coming and going. Once we rang the doorbell and had to wait at least... More

We stayed at a number of good riads during our month of travel in Morocco, but this was by far our favourite. We only booked 2 nights and wished we had stayed longer. The riad's design was very welcoming with every detail thoughtful and tasteful. We stayed in Thé de Mogador on the terrace level. The room was clean and... More
