We stayed here for 3 nights and really loved the place - although aging it had great ambiance and character. The garden area where we had breakfast and dinner was lovely. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good and the two dinners we ate there were very nice. We had a spacious room on the second floor... More

The rooms are spacious, old furniture but in good state. Miriam who works there is the key for the success of this riad, she does everything; checking you in, opens the door and serves breakfast. I think without this lady, this road will not continue. The breakfast was really good and the pancakes were so tasty. The wifi worked in... More

..a and then there was the hotel. We visited in December - it was cold and damp. To be fair after we complained the owner changed and upgraded our room. But there's only so much you can do with a hotel that is in need of maintenance. The location is good, but if I had it to do over, would... More

I spent two nights in Riad Meknes during my visit in Meknes. It's located in the middle of Medina. It was not really hard to be found, it has many sign boards on the main road. 15 minutes walking from Bab Mansour, Moulay Ismail, etc. I did reservation through email, without any credit card. It has very beautiful garden, with... More

+ great garden, spacious room, great breakfast in the garden - even with Tajine-fried eggs, after we complained about a few things (see below) we got a fast feedback and when the staff had changed the next day everything was great, no alcoholic drinks but we could bring our own wine for dinner - our "welcome" when we arrived was... We were pleasantly surprised to find this riad with a nice, quaint ambiance at a decent price. The dining terrace was one of the nicest things at the riad. The rooms were quite average but meals and service were above average. Wifi is on a specific floor in a family room, not in the individual rooms. A nice one night... More

This place is gorgeous, comfortable, relaxing - and there is a pool! Excellent value - helpful staff, good food. Throughout my stay I kept thinking - I can't believe they don't charge more. Worth a trip to Meknes to stay here.

We found the room that we had to be big, dark, dimly lit and not to our liking. The shower did not drain. There was a dark corridor that we had to go through to arrive at the room. It needed some lighting. The only good part of our stay here was the dining area and the food was good.

I was born in Morocco and I had not been back for some time. I took my wife and my daughter and toured Morocco for three weeks. We spent four days at Riad Meknes. The experience was incredible. The rooms were comfortable and the service was great. We enjoyed breakfast on the patio upsatairs with Moroccan pastries and breads. We... More

The Riad Meknes was the absolute low point of our October 2010 holiday in Morocco. On arrival there was confusion as to whether we had a booking or not. This despite obtaining an email confirmation just before leaving Australia, and then again phoning ahead from Marrakech two days before arriving, to be doubly sure. We suspect they had messed up,...
