This was our first time to Morocco, so we wanted a relaxing place to stay where we could wind down in case we needed to. Marrakech itself was *very* friendly and there was no real need to "escape" anything. But the riad was the highlight of our stay anyway. We spent 2 weeks in Morroco with our 2 kids (1 and 4 years old). Belbaraka was the best hotel we stayed in (4 days to start our trip). All the staff is very nice and carefull with the kids. The riad is a beauty and is very peaceful after a walk in the souk. We higly recommend this hotel... more

Don't be put off by the walk to the hotel, those little winding streets seem to be the norm.!! That said we were a group, but I wouldn't like to walk there as a single female in the evening. The hotel was lovely with 5 rooms, each with it's own different style/theme. Unfortunately ours had a shower in the bath... more

Riad Maison Belbaraka is surely the best stay in Marrakech! There are a lot of nice riads in Marrakech, but there is no place like Riad Maison Belbaraka!! The rooms are very pretty (we stayed in cafe and vega), the bathrooms are stylish and the breakfast is delicious (enjoy it on the rooftop terrace!). We really liked the relaxed atmosphere... more
