We've just returned from spending 6 wonderful days at Riad Zahr. Words alone cannot explain the beauty and brilliance of this little oasis. Nicolas and Jean Remy are exceptional hosts who never tire to make your stay in Marrakech a wonderful one. Upon entering this gem of a place, you are greeted by a beautiful courtyard with exquisite and tasteful... more

I picked Riad Zahr due to the great value price and the amazing reviews on trip advisor and it did not disappoint. My partner and I stayed in Riad Zahr for 4 nights and it became our home away from home. Nicolas and Jean-Rémy were the most welcoming hosts and could not do enough for us. After the craziness of... more

I just came back from an eight day trip to Morocco and spent 5 nights in Riad Zahr. I chose it because of the price range and Trip Advisor reviews and I don't regret it! The Riad is very peaceful, you really feel at home and the breakfast is great (homemade yogurt, jams, typical Moroccan pancakes, orange juice and a... more

We do agree with the previous comments: great room, great location, delicious food (try the dinner there !). And top of that: fantastic massage on our arrival ! That is not to said the owners are more than helpful: if you are looking either for places to visit, shopping address or restaurant, or whatever just ask for insiders tips. And... more

Seriously, if you're anything like me and very meticulous in your pre holiday internet research, then you can now relax as you have found an absolute gem here. I came back on Saturday evening having spent a week there with my girlfriend and it was one of the best weeks I have ever had! We have both traveled to many... more

We use tripadvisor as our accomodation "bible" and came across Riad Zahr - and are very glad that we did.  It is amazingly quiet and Nicolas and Jean-Remy will do all that they can to help you, including walking you through the souks to the main square.  Although it may appear a little daunting, it is really very easy to... more

Terry and Corinne, Benissa, Spain Owned and run 24/7 by a 30 something French couple, Nicolas and Jean-Remy both of whom are charming, caring, helpful and friendly, Riad Zahr, was for us on our recent four day shopping trip, just perfect. The whole Riad is Moroccan chic minimalist but also ultra comfortable with a touch of French country thrown in.... more

WOW, top marks go to this beautiful riad and its charming french owners! We are newly weds and travelling around Europe for 2 months and we were lucky enough to spend 8 glorious nights in Riad Zahr and to be honest it was the highlight of our trip. The location is perfect as the Riad is located within the Medina... more

We spent 2 - non consecutive - nights (Arbaha room), in between we did a 3-day hike in the Atlas. Actually we can easily summarise our stay in Riad Zahr: it was perfect. The other reviews for this riad match exactly with what we experienced. We will not easliy forget the nice welcome of Jean-Remy and Nicolas. We spent the... more

For our first 4 nights in Morocco, we stayed at the Riad Zahr. This was a fantastic way to launch our Marrekesh/Morocco adventure. Jean Remy and Nicholas took care of us like family. Upon arrival they showed us how to navigate the medina and the confusing souks. The job they've done in decorating their riad is spectacular. It's very Zen... more
