We stayed here for few nights. As like most riads you wouldnt know it was there from outside. Once inside it has internal court yard with pool. Breakfast and meals served here. Ate here first night on arrival. It is not far from centre...took us a while to get our bearings. We thought it was to a good standard.

I have never written a negative review but feel on this occasion I must. We had organised the airport pickup - but this never happened despite giving flight no. and times. We waited and waited, phoned the riad - nothing we eventually got a taxi at airport which turned out much cheaper. On the 3 day my watch went missing,... More

The Riad interior is set around a calming pool. No formal reception space you are welcomed with Mint Tea, local biscuits and a seat by the cool blue pool whilst all your details are taken. Other reviews talk about the ground floor rooms being slightly more noisy than the first floor. That's true but the airy spacious rooms make up... More

We booked this Riad expecting a relaxing weekend in Marrakech. It is central in the Medina which is good, but we had trouble to find it at first. Had to pay someone to guide the way from the taxi, as you cannot approach it by car. That was a weird situation. The staff is very welcoming and friendly, offered tea... More

Having stayed here lastFebruary we had some high hopes of this having booked into a 5* riad, on first impressions it seemed nice then we got to our room!!! Oh dear how disappointing, we really weren't happy. We had booked a suite with bath, well at first the room looked nice, then quickly you realised there were many issues. Firstly... More

I visited Palais Calipau on November the 18th for 4 nights and was bowled over by the calming atmosphere and attentive staff who no request was too big or small for them. Our room was incredibly clean and fresh sheets and towels daily. On the food front breakfast went from ok to good but there were too many types of... More

We had a fantastic experience at this lovely hotel. The staff especially Abdul were extremely helpful and could not do enough for us. The rooms were lovely and the breakfasts were delightful. We had lovely meals and the roof terrace is stunning. I hope to stay here again soon

Such a shame, the decor is beautiful but the rooms are not equipped with a fridge or a working T.V,and the bathroom facilities are really basic and not installed properly. Breakfast really simple 😟 However the manager Selma is really lovely and helpful.

Stayed there for a week with my wife in November. No signs showed us the way but some locals guided us to the door for some Dirham. Nice small Road with decent room, not a five star of course. Friendly staff and their terrine of lamb was the best I've tested (of three). Breakfast was marrocaen, some toasted bread, pancakes... More

booked to stay at riad for 3 nights from 12th oct to 15th oct. spent 90 mins getting through passport control at airport. put that down to African Red tape.! Disappointed thereafter when we were taken to different riad. were told problem with water in our room, but discovered reality was that they had overbooked riad. We also got smallest... More
