I visited Palais Calipau on November the 18th for 4 nights and was bowled over by the calming atmosphere and attentive staff who no request was too big or small for them. Our room was incredibly clean and fresh sheets and towels daily. On the food front breakfast went from ok to good but there were too many types of... More

Such a shame, the decor is beautiful but the rooms are not equipped with a fridge or a working T.V,and the bathroom facilities are really basic and not installed properly. Breakfast really simple 😟 However the manager Selma is really lovely and helpful.

Stayed there for a week with my wife in November. No signs showed us the way but some locals guided us to the door for some Dirham. Nice small Road with decent room, not a five star of course. Friendly staff and their terrine of lamb was the best I've tested (of three). Breakfast was marrocaen, some toasted bread, pancakes... More

booked to stay at riad for 3 nights from 12th oct to 15th oct. spent 90 mins getting through passport control at airport. put that down to African Red tape.! Disappointed thereafter when we were taken to different riad. were told problem with water in our room, but discovered reality was that they had overbooked riad. We also got smallest... More

We arrived at the Riad at 2am after our flight from the UK so felt a little weary, but our first taste of the authentic Moroccan mint tea at this hour was extremely refreshing and welcoming. Breakfast was lovely on the roof terrace each morning, but we choose to eat out at restaurants in Marrakesh instead of at the Riad.... More

My sister and I stayed at this Riad a few days ago and had an amazing time. It is situated in the Kasbah area and everything from the staff (Abdul, Stephanie, Aziza our wonderful breakfast lady and the rest of staff) to our room and the relaxation areas was just perfect. We will definitely be back to the wonderful Marrakech!... More

It's a quiet and charming hotel in the heart of Marrakesh. We loved the big, heavy door leading to a peaceful inside. It was like a hidden palace. The swimming pool and the relaxation area are perfect for those hot afternoons/evenings or when we just want to escape from the crowd and noise of Marrakesh. The service was great, we... More

We loved the laid back ambiance and style. The team could not have been friendlier and the welcome was warm and genuine. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the proximity of the centre. The walk through the alleyways to the medina was a challenge with loads of scooters. The centre is a busy mad place but great fun. Watch out... More

I will struggle to fault this Riad and its staff. Once you enter through the heavy wooden door, you are transported to an oasis of calm against the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. The rooms on the ground floor surround a small pool which was very welcome after a day in the sun. The room was a great size for... More

We took a taxi from the airport to the Riad which dropped us as near as possible but not outside the front door as the alley way leading there is too narrow for most cars. If you are planning to hire a car the staff at the hotel will help you find parking but think small if you want to... More
